Chazon Yochanan (Revelation)

Introduction

Introduction to Chazon Yochanan (The Revelation of John)

Within the Framework of The Ivri Heritage Bible

The panoramic, climactic document presented here, titled Chazon Yochanan (חֲזוֹן יוֹחָנָן — The Vision of John) and traditionally designated as the Book of Revelation, stands as the definitive, ultimate eschatological crown stone crowning the text of The Ivri Heritage Bible. Transmitted as a profound revelatory legacy received by the emissary Yochanan on the isolated volcanic terrain of the Iy (Isle) of Patmos, this scroll chronicles the final cosmic transition of human history. It details the systematic winnowing of the nations, the deposition of the powers of darkness, the ultimate wedding feast of the Messiah, and the physical descent of the New Jerusalem into a renewed creation.

Operating within a pristine Hebraized linguistic framework, the translation honors the explicit source text verbatim. By systematically stripping away late Hellenistic and Western ecclesiastical interpretations, it uncovers the underlying Hebrew architecture, ancient Temple liturgy, and prophetic idioms that connect the first-century Netzarim movement directly with the continuous stream of the Hebrew scriptures.

Textual Methodology: Restoring Sacred Names and the Hebraic Lexicon

An essential hallmark of The Ivri Heritage Bible is the scrupulous restoration of original Hebrew vocabulary, technical descriptors, and institutional designations directly within the visionary prose:  The Divine Names and Sovereignty: The covenantal Name Yahuah (יְהוָה) is restored alongside Elohim (אֱלֹהִים), El Shaddai (אֵל שַׁדַּי — Almighty), and HaAv (הָאָב — the Father). The Messiah is revealed through His authentic title as Yeshua HaMashiach (יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ — Jesus the Messiah), who explicitly introduces Himself through the Hebraic alphabetic anchor: Aleph v'Tav (אָלֶף וְתָו — First and Last of Greek form Alpha and Omega).  The Sanctuary and Liturgical Infrastructure: The scroll is saturated with Temple imagery, utilizing designations like the Heichal (הֵיכָל — Temple), the Mishkan (מִשְׁכָּן — Tabernacle), the mizbeach (altar), the golden machtah zahav (golden censer), the sacrificial HaSeh (הַשֶּה — the Lamb), golden misraqot zahav (golden bowls), and ketoret (incense) representing the tefillot kedoshim (prayers of the holy ones). The congregation breaks the celebratory lechem (bread), pours the ritual gefen (vine), offers Todah (thanksgiving), and executes the corporate shir chadash (new song).  Prophetic Personnel, Time, and Space: Yochanan is identified as an eved (servant) communicating a solemn nevu'ah (prophecy) while caught up in the Ruach (Spirit) on the sacred Yom Yahuah. Heavenly advocates are malachim (angels) under the command of Mikha'el (Michael), who confront HaSatan (the Adversary), HaNachash HaKadmon (the ancient serpent), and HaTanin HaAdom (the great red dragon). Visionary topography incorporates Har Tziyon (Mount Zion), Har HaZeitim (Mount of Olives), Yerushalayim HaChadashah (New Jerusalem), Gan Eden (Paradise), Nahar Perat (Euphrates), and the fateful staging ground of Har Megiddo (Armageddon).  The Covenantal Metrics of Accountability: Individual human nefashot (souls) are subjected to the strict parameters of mishpat (judgment), tzedakah (righteousness), emunah (faith), and the mitzvot (commandments). The wicked undergo a fiery trial leading to HaMavet HaSheni (the second death) in the lake of fire, while the names of the righteous are preserved in the Sefer HaChayyim (Book of Life) or recorded in the Sefarim (books) before the Kise Lavan Gadol (Great White Throne).

Prophetic Architecture and Critical Narrative Themes

The text of Chazon Yochanan moves systematically through seven structural movements, utilizing a deeply Hebraic pattern of matching sevens to unroll cosmic history.

1. The Vision of the Ben Adam and the Sheva Kehillot (Chapters 1–3)

The revelation opens with a blessing upon all who read, hear, and protect the words of this nevu'ah. Yochanan, exiled on the Iy of Patmos for the Datar Elohim and the edut of Yeshua, is caught up in the Ruach on Yom Yahuah by a thunderous voice like a shofar. Turning, he beholds a magnificent vision of the glorified Ben Adam (Son of Man) standing in the midst of sheva Menorot haZahav (seven golden lampstands), holding sheva Kochavim (seven stars) in His right hand. Clothed in priestly vestments, with eyes like a lahav esh (flame of fire), feet like burning brass, and a sharp two-edged sword proceeding from His mouth, the Messiah declares that He holds the maftechot She'ol v'HaMavet (keys of Sheol and of Death). He reveals that the stars are the malachim of the assemblies, and the lampstands are the sheva Kehillot themselves.

Chapters 2 and 3 document specific prophetic letters directed to the seven historical assemblies of Asia, serving as an intensive legal evaluation of their spiritual status:  Ephesus: Commended for exposing false shlichim (apostles), but sharply warned to repent and recover their first ahavah lest their Menorah be removed.  Smyrna: Encouraged to remain faithful unto death amidst severe poverty and tribulation, ignoring the blasphemy of the Beit Knesset HaSatan (Synagogue of Satan) to receive the ateret chayyim (crown of life).  Pergamos: Rebuked for tolerating the doctrine of Balaam and the Nicolaitans, which incited the people to eat idol sacrifices and commit zenut (fornication); called to do teshuvah to receive the man nistar (hidden Manna) and a white stone with a new Shem.  Thyatira: Warned for permitting the false neviyah (prophetess) Izevel (Jezebel) to lead servants into zenut; those who hold fast are promised power over the nations with a shevet barzel (rod of iron).  Sardis: Interrogated for having a Shem that they are alive while being structurally dead; called to watchfulness before the Messiah arrives like a thief.  Philadelphia: Highly praised for keeping the Davar and not denying His Name; promised an open door via the mafteach David (key of David) and protection from the coming hour of nisayon (trial).  Laodicea: Condemned for being lukewarm, blind, and naked; counistered to buy zahav tzaruf ba'esh (gold refined in fire) and white raiment, answering the Messiah who stands knocking at the door.

2. The Heavenly Kise, the Megillah, and the Lamb Who Prevailed (Chapters 4–5)

Yochanan is summoned through an open door in Shamayim to witness the supreme throne room of creation. He beholds a magnificent kise encircled by a emerald-like keshet (rainbow). Upon esrim v'arba'ah kisot sit twenty-four Zekenim (Elders) clothed in white robes and wearing golden crowns. Seven burning lamps of fire representing the sheva Ruchot Elohim blaze before a sea of glass. In the midst and round about the throne are arba'ah Chayot (four living creatures) resembling a Lion (Aryeh), a Calf (Egel), a Man, and a flying Eagle (Nesher). Possessing six wings and covered in eyes, they lead an unceasing liturgy of worship, chanting the Kedushah: "Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh, Yahuah El Shaddai, which was, and is, and is to come."

Chapter 5 introduces the central crisis of redemptive history: a megillah (scroll) sealed with sheva chatamot (seven seals) rests in the right hand of the Creator, and no one in heaven or earth is found worthy to open it. As Yochanan weeps, an Elder comforts him, announcing that the Aryeh miShevet Yehudah (Lion of the tribe of Judah) and Shoresh David (Root of David) has prevailed. Yochanan turns and beholds a HaSeh (Lamb) standing as if it had been slain, possessing seven horns and seven eyes. As the Lamb takes the scroll, the Elders and Chayot fall down with Temple kinorot (harps) and golden misraqot zahav full of ketoret. They break into a shir chadash, declaring: "You are worthy... for you were slain, and ge'altanu (redeemed us) to Elohim by your dam." This triggers a massive wave of adoration joined by ribo ribo (ten thousand times ten thousand) angels singing praises to the Lamb.

3. The Opening of the Seven Seals and the 144,000 of Yisrael (Chapters 6–7)

The Lamb systematically breaks open the seals, unleashing the four horsemen of the apocalypse:  First Seal: A sus lavan (white horse); its rider carries a bow and goes forth conquering.  Second Seal: A sus adom (red horse); its rider wields a great sword to strip peace from the earth through bloodshed.  Third Seal: A sus shachor (black horse); its rider holds moznayim (balances) as a voice dictates hyper-inflation and famine pricing for wheat and barley.  Fourth Seal: A sus yarok (pale horse) ridden by HaMavet v'She'ol (Death and Sheol), empowered to slaughter a fourth of the earth by sword, hunger, and wild beasts.  Fifth Seal: Yochanan beholds the nefashot of the martyred saints underneath the mizbeach (altar), crying out: "How long... do You not shofet and naqam et damenu (avenge our blood)?" They are given white robes and told to rest until their brethren are fulfilled.  Sixth Seal: A cataclysmic cosmic shaking (ra'ash) occurs; the sun turns black as sackcloth, the moon turns to blood, the stars fall like figs, and all strata of society hide in mountain dens, screaming to be covered from the af (wrath) of the Lamb.

Chapter 7 pauses the destruction as four angels hold back the winds until the servants of Elohim are sealed upon their foreheads. Yochanan hears the explicit census: me'ah arba'im v'arba'ah elef (144,000) sealed from the shnem-asar shvatim (twelve tribes) of the B'nei Yisrael, with twelve thousand registered precisely from each family lineage. Following this, he beholds a hamon rav (great multitude) that no man can number from kol goyim (all nations) standing before the throne in white robes with kapot tamarim (palm branches) celebrating Yeshuah (salvation) to Elohim and the Lamb in a cosmic Sukkot liturgy. The Elder clarifies that these survived ha-tzarah hagedolah (the great tribulation), washing their robes in the blood of the Lamb, and are now led to ma'yanot mayim chayyim (living springs of water).

4. The Seventh Seal, the Machtah Zahav, and the Seven Shofarot (Chapters 8–10) The breaking of the HaChatum HaShevi'i (seventh seal) brings an absolute, dramatic silence in Shamayim for half an hour. Seven angels are handed sheva shofarot. An angel stands at the golden altar with a machtah zahav (golden censer), offering much ketoret with the tefillot of all the holy ones. He fills the censer with altar fire and casts it to the earth, triggering thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. The execution of the shofarot begins:  First Shofar: Hail (barad) mixed with fire and blood burns a third of the trees and grass.  Second Shofar: A burning mountain is cast into the sea, turning a third of the waters to blood and killing a third of marine life.  Third Shofar: A great star named La'anah (Wormwood) falls upon the fresh waters, turning them bitter and causing many deaths.  Fourth Shofar: A third of the sun, moon, and stars are smitten into choshech (darkness), triggering a flying angel to cry out a triple Oy, Oy, Oy (Woe) warning of the remaining blasts.  Fifth Shofar (The First Woe): A fallen star uses a key to unlock the Be'er HaTehom (bottomless pit). A thick smoke rises like a furnace, releasing supernatural arbeh (locusts) shaped like battle-horses with scorpion tails. Commanded by their king, Avaddon (Destruction), they torment unsealed humans for five months.  Sixth Shofar (The Second Woe): Four angels bound at the river Nahar Perat (Euphrates) are loosed, unleashing a massive equestrian army numbering ma'atayim elef ribo (200 million) that breathes out fire and brimstone to slaughter a third of mankind. Despite these plagues (makkot), the survivors refuse to do teshuvah from their sorceries (kishuf), murders (retzachim), zenut, and thefts.

Chapter 10 introduces a malach gibbor clothed in a cloud with a keshet upon his head, standing upon the sea and earth with a megillah ketanah (little scroll). He roars like a lion, causing sheva re'amim (seven thunders) to speak, which Yochanan is ordered to seal up and leave unwritten. The angel swears that time will be no longer, and that under the seventh shofar, the raz Elohim (mystery of God) announced to the prophets will be finished. Yochanan is commanded to take the little scroll and eat it; it tastes sweet as honey in his mouth but turns his belly bitter, sealing his mandate to prophesy again before nations and kings.

5. The Shney Edim, the Seventh Shofar, and the Cosmic War (Chapters 11–13)

Yochanan is given a measuring reed (qaneh) to measure the Heichal and the altar, leaving out the outer court (chatzer hachutz) which is abandoned to the goyim for forty-two months. Yahuah empowers His shney edim (two witnesses), who act as the shney zeitim (two olive trees) and two candlesticks prophesying for 1,260 days in sackcloth. Operating in the spirit of Elijah (shutting heaven from rain) and Moses (striking the earth with kol makkot), they incinerate enemies with fire from their mouths. The Beast from the abyss murders them, and their corpses lie unburied in the great city (spiritually called Sodom and Egypt) for three and a half days as the world rejoices. Then, the Ruach Chayyim re-enters them; they stand up and ascend to heaven in a cloud, followed by a massive earthquake that destroys a tenth of the city.

The sounding of the seventh shofar causes thunderous declarations in heaven: "The mamlakhot ha'olam hayu l'Yahuah u'l'Mashiach (the kingdoms of this world become Yahuah's and His Mashiach's), and he shall yimloch l'olmei olamim." The Temple of Elohim is opened in heaven, revealing the long-lost Aron HaBriyt (Ark of the Covenant) amidst cosmic lightnings and hail.

Chapter 12 unrolls a cosmic sign (ot): a woman clothed with the sun, the moon beneath her feet, and twelve stars upon her head travails to give birth. A great red dragon (HaTanin HaAdom) with seven heads and ten horns waits to devour the child. She brings forth a man child destined to lirdot kol goyim b'shevet barzel (rule all nations with a rod of iron). The child is caught up to the throne, and the woman flees into the midbar (wilderness) for 1,260 days. War erupts in heaven: Mikha'el and his angels fight the dragon, permanently casting the ancient serpent, called HaSatan, down to the earth. A heavenly voice rejoices that the HaMalshin achinu (accuser of our brethren) is overthrown, noting that the saints overcame him by the dam of the Lamb and the davar of their testimony. The furious dragon pursues the woman, who escapes on the wings of a great eagle for a time, times, and half a time, prompting the dragon to make war with the she'erit zar'ah (remnant of her seed) who keep the mitzvot.

Chapter 13 details the rise of the anti-messianic empire. A beast emerges from the sea blending the predatory features of Daniel's vision: a leopard (namer), a bear (dov), and a lion (Aryeh). The dragon gives him his throne, and the deceived world worships him, chanting a parody of the Exodus song: "Mi k'HaChayah (Who is like the Beast)?" For forty-two months, he opens his mouth in gidduf (blasphemy) against the Name and the Mishkan, executing war against the kedoshim. A second beast rises from the earth with two horns like a lamb but speaking like a dragon, executing signs to force humanity to worship an tzelem (image) of the first beast. He forces all segments of society to receive a counterfeit tav (mark) upon their right hand or forehead to buy or sell. Yochanan states that counting the mispar HaChayah (number of the beast) requires binah (understanding): it is the number of a man, six hundred three score and six (666).

6. The Harvest of the Earth, the Seven Last Plagues, and the Fall of Bavel (Chapters 14–18) The vision shifts to show the true Remnant: HaSeh stands triumphantly upon Har Tziyon accompanied by the 144,000, who carry the Father's Name written upon their foreheads. Singing a shir chadash before the throne, these blameless betulim (virgins) are recognized as the bikkurim (firstfruits) unto Elohim, characterized by ein mirmah (no guile) in their mouths. Angels fly across heaven proclaiming the Besorah Olam (everlasting Gospel) and announcing the collapse of the opposition: "Nafal, nafal Bavel (Fallen, fallen is Babylon)!" Warning is given that anyone who takes the beast's tav will drink the unmixed yayin of the wrath of Elohim, tormented in fire and sulfur before the Lamb. The Son of Man appears upon a white cloud wielding a sharp sickle (magal), thrusting it into the earth to reap the ripe harvest. A companion angel reaps the grape clusters of the gefen ha'aretz (vine of the earth), flinging them into the gat haGadol chemah Elohim (great winepress of God's wrath), which is trodden outside the city until blood rises to the horse bridles.

Chapters 15 and 16 unroll the final execution cycle: sheva makkot acharonot (seven last plagues). The victorious saints stand upon a sea of glass mingled with fire, playing harps and singing the Song of Moses and the Shirat HaSeh, chanting: "Gedolot v'Nifla'ot ma'asekha, Yahuah El Shaddai... Mi lo Yira'ekha Yahuah?" The heavenly Heichal HaMishkan HaEdut (Temple of the Tabernacle of Testimony) opens, and seven angels dressed in pure white linen (butz tahor) emerge. A living creature hands them seven golden bowls (misraqot zahav) filled with divine wrath, filling the sanctuary with smoke from the kavod of Elohim so that no man can enter. The bowls are poured out upon the earth:  First Bowl: Grievous sores fall upon those carrying the tav of the beast.  Second & Third Bowls: The oceans, rivers, and fountains turn completely to blood (hayu l'dam), executing a just retribution upon those who shed the blood of the prophets.  Fourth Bowl: The sun is empowered to scorch men with fire, causing them to blaspheme the Name rather than do teshuvah.  Fifth Bowl: The very throne of the beast is plunged into absolute darkness and pain.  Sixth Bowl: The river Nahar Perat is completely dried up to clear a path for the kings of the East. Three unclean spirits like frogs (tzfarde'im) emerge from the unholy trinity to perform signs, gathering the global armies to the final battlefield called in Hebrew Har Megiddo (Armageddon).  Seventh Bowl: Poured into the air, a voice from the throne thunders: "Nigmar (It is done)!" A unmatched global earthquake shatters the great city into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapse as Babylon is forced to drink the kos yayin chemah afpo (cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath).

Chapters 17 and 18 provide a detailed forensic profile of the judgment of HaZonah HaGedolah (the Great Harlot) who sits upon mayim rabbim (peoples and nations). Dressed in the counterfeit Temple colors of purple (argaman) and scarlet (shani) and holding a golden cup full of shikotzim (abominations), her forehead reads: Raz, Bavel HaGedolah. She is drunk on the blood of the saints and the edei Yeshua. The angel explains that the ten horns of the beast will ultimately turn on the Harlot, strip her naked, and burn her with fire.

In Chapter 18, a powerful angel illuminates the earth, singing the final dirge over Babylon. The covenant people are commanded: "Tze'u minah ami (Come out of her, My people)!" so they do not share in her plagues. The merchants (sochrim) weep as their massive economic market for gold, precious stones, butz, argaman, shani, levonah (frankincense), and the souls of men vanishes in a single hour (sha'ah achat). A mighty angel casts a massive millstone (rechayim) into the sea to demonstrate her violent, permanent elimination. The voice of musicians, the light of a lamp, and the voice of the chatan v'kallah (bridegroom and bride) are permanently silenced inside her for deceiving the nations through her sorceries (kishuf).

7. HalleluYAH, the Triumphant Warrior, and the New Creation (Chapters 19–22)

Chapter 19 erupts with the thunderous, uncompromised celestial shout of HalleluYAH (Praise Yahuah)—marking the only use of this Hebrew phrase in the New Testament corpus. The great multitude praises Yahuah for executing true and righteous judgments upon the Harlot. The announcement is made: "For the chasunah (wedding) of HaSeh is come, and his wife has made herself ready." She is arrayed in butz (fine linen), defined explicitly as the tzedakot kedoshim (righteousness of the holy ones).

Heaven opens to reveal the ultimate Divine Warrior riding a sus lavan (white horse). Called Ne'eman v'Emet, His eyes are a lahav esh, and His garment is dipped in blood; His Name is declared as The HaDavar Elohim (The Word of God). Followed by the armies of heaven on white horses, He strikes the nations with a sharp sword, rules them with a shevet barzel, and treads the winepress of the fierce wrath of Almighty Elohim. His thigh reads: Melech HaMelachim v'Adon ha'Adonim. The beast and false prophet are captured on the battlefield and cast alive into the agam esh (lake of fire) burning with brimstone.

In Chapter 20, an angel binds the dragon, HaNachash HaKadmon, casting him into the abyss for a thousand years (Elef Shanim). Yochanan sees the thrones of the martyred saints who refused the mark of the beast; they are resurrected in the tkhiyah rishonah (first resurrection) to reign as kohanim of Elohim and Mashiach during the Millennium. At the close of the thousand years, Satan is released to gather Gog u'Magog for a final siege against the beloved city, but fire descends from heaven to devour them, and the devil is cast eternally into the lake of fire. The Kise Lavan Gadol (Great White Throne) is established; the earth and sky flee, the sefarim niftachu (books are opened), and the dead are judged according to their works out of the Sefer HaChayyim. Death and Sheol are cast into the lake of fire, which is the HaMavet HaSheni.

Chapters 21 and 22 unroll the ultimate, breathtaking reality of the New Creation: Shamayim Chadashim v'Aretz Chadashah (a new heaven and a new earth). Yochanan beholds Yerushalayim HaChadashah descending out of heaven like a bride adorned for her husband. A thunderous voice declares: "Behold, the Mishkan Elohim im ha'anashim... and He will shachen bayneihem (dwell among them)." The ultimate Shekhinah presence is fulfilled; Yahuah personally yimcheh et kol dim'ot (wipes away all tears), eliminating death (lo yihyeh od mavet), sorrow, and pain forever. From His throne, He cries: "Hinneh, ana chadash — I make all things new!"

Yochanan is carried to a har gadol v'ram (great and high mountain) to examine the architectural metadata of the city. It possesses a high wall with shnem-asar she'arim (twelve gates) guarded by twelve angels, bearing the names of the shnem-asar shvatim of the B'nei Yisrael, arranged with three gates on each of the four cardinal points of the compass—reflecting the exact encampment blueprint of Numbers 2 around the portable Mishkan. The twelve foundations of the wall bear the names of the shnem-asar Shlichim. Built of pure gold and Jasper, its twelve foundations are composed entirely of the precise precious gems found upon the High Priest's breastplate in Exodus 28 (yashpeh, sapir, achalamah, etc.).

Yochanan notes a stunning detail: "And lo ra'iti Heichal (I saw no Temple) therein: For the Lord Elohim Almighty, and the HaSeh, are the Heichal of it." The city requires no sun or moon, for the kavod of Elohim provides absolute light, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.

The text concludes in Chapter 22 by showing a pure river of mayim chayyim (water of life) bursting from the throne, flanked on both sides by the Etz HaChayyim (Tree of Life) restored from Genesis, bearing twelve fruits every month for the healing of the nations. The ultimate territorial victory is declared: lo yihyeh od cherem (there shall be no more curse). The servants v'chazu et panav (shall see His face), carrying His Name directly upon their foreheads, and reigning forever. The Messiah issues a final prophetic call: "Hinneh, ba'i maher (Behold, I come quickly), and sakhari iti (My reward is with Me)!" He identifies Himself as the Shoresh v'Tzemach David (Root and Branch of David) and the true Kochav HaShachar HaBahir (Bright Morning Star). The scroll closes with a severe warning matching Deuteronomy: anyone who adds (lo tosif) or subtracts (lo tigra) from the words of this book will have the makkot added to them and their portion stripped from the Book of Life. Yochanan seals the canon with an ecstatic cry: "Amein. Even so, Bo Adonai Yeshua!"

An Enduring Standard for the Remnant

Within the comprehensive architecture of The Ivri Heritage Bible, the Book of Chazon Yochanan functions as the absolute theological checkpoint and victorious compass for the scattered community navigating the pressures of global empires. It demonstrates that history is not an uncontrolled accident, but a meticulously timed court case moving toward the total eradication of evil and the physical restoration of the Mishkan of Elohim with humanity. As you read these multi-layered, restored chapters from "CHAZON YOCHANAN (The Revelation of John)", let the sound of the HalleluYAH chorus echo in your spirit, let the purity of the 144,000 govern your personal ethics, and anchor your soul in the unshakeable promise of the coming King who makes all things completely new.

Chapter 1 The Chazon Given to Yochanan, the Sheva Kehillot in Asia, and the Vision of Yeshua HaMashiach Among the Sheva Menorot HaZahav

1 The Chazon Yeshua HaMashiach (Revelation of Jesus Christ), which Elohim (God) gave unto him, to show unto his evedim (servants) things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his malach (Angel) unto his eved (servant) Yochanan (John),
2 Who bore record of the Davar Elohim (Word of God), and of the edut Yeshua HaMashiach (testimony of Jesus Christ), and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this nevu'ah (prophecy), and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
4 Yochanan (John) to the sheva Kehillot (seven Assemblies) in Asia, chen (grace) be unto you, and shalom (peace), from him which is, and which was, and which is to come, and from the sheva Ruchot (seven Spirits) which are before his kise (throne):
5 And from Yeshua HaMashiach, who is the ed ne'eman (faithful witness), and the bechor min hameitim (firstborn from the dead), and the Sar melachei (Prince of the kings) of the aretz (earth): unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own dam (blood),
6 And has made us melachim v'kohanim (Kings and Priests) unto Elohim and His HaAv (unto God and His Father): to him be kavod (glory) and dominion for ever and ever, Amein.
7 Behold he comes with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all mishpachot (kindreds/families) of the aretz (earth) shall wail because of him: even so, Amein.
8 I am Aleph v'Tav (Alpha and Omega — First and Last), the beginning and the ending, says Yahuah, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the El Shaddai (Almighty).
9 I Yochanan (John), who also am your brother, and companion in tzarah (tribulation), and in the malkhut (kingdom) and patience of Yeshua HaMashiach, was in the Iy (Isle) that is called Patmos, for the Davar Elohim (Word of God), and for the edut Yeshua HaMashiach (testimony of Jesus Christ).
10 I was in the Ruach (in the Spirit) on Yom Yahuah (the Lord's Day), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a shofar (trumpet),
11 Saying, I am Aleph v'Tav (Alpha and Omega — First and Last), the first and the last: and what you see, write in a book, and send it unto the sheva Kehillot (seven Assemblies) which are in Asia, unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw sheva Menorot haZahav (seven golden Lampstands/Menorot),
13 And in the midst of the sheva Menorot (seven Lampstands/Menorot), one like unto the Ben Adam (Son of Man), clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the chest with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hair were white like wool as white as snow, and his eyes were as a lahav esh (flame of fire),
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace: and his voice as the sound of mayim rabbim (many waters).
16 And he had in his right hand sheva Kochavim (seven Stars): and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the shemesh (Sun) shining in its strength.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead: and he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not, I am the first, and the last.
18 I am he that lives, and was dead: and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amein, and have the maftechot She'ol v'HaMavet (keys of Sheol and of Death).
19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter,
20 The raz (mystery) of the sheva Kochavim (seven Stars) which you saw in my right hand, and the sheva Menorot haZahav (seven golden Lampstands/Menorot). The sheva Kochavim (seven Stars) are the malachim (Angels) of the sheva Kehillot (seven Assemblies): and the sheva Menorot (seven Lampstands/Menorot) which you saw, are the sheva Kehillot (seven Assemblies).

Chapter 2 Letters to the Sheva Kehillot: Ephesus — Restore Your First Ahavah; Smyrna — Be Faithful unto Death; Pergamos — Repent of the Doctrine of Balaam; Thyatira — Repent of Izevel

1 Unto the Angel of the kehillah (assembly) of Ephesus, write: These things says he that holds the sheva Kochavim (seven Stars) in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the sheva Menorot haZahav (seven golden Lampstands):
2 I know your works, and your labour, and your patience, and how you cannot bear them which are evil, and you have tried them which say they are shlichim (apostles/sent ones), and are not, and have found them liars:
3 And have borne, and have patience, and for My Shem's sake have laboured, and have not fainted.
4 Nevertheless, I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love.
5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works, or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your Menorah (Lampstand) out of its place, except you repent.
6 But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) says unto the kehillot (assemblies): To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the Etz HaChayyim (tree of life), which is in the midst of the Gan Eden (Paradise of) Elohim (God).
8 And unto the Angel of the kehillah (assembly) in Smyrna, write: These things says the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive,
9 I know your works, and tribulation, and poverty, but you are rich, and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Yahudim (Jews) and are not, but are the Beit Knesset HaSatan (Synagogue of Satan).
10 Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, HaSatan (the devil/Adversary) shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried, and you shall have tribulation ten days: be faithful unto death, and I will give you a ateret chayyim (crown of life).
11 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) says unto the kehillot (assemblies). He that overcomes, shall not be hurt of HaMavet HaSheni (the second death).
12 And to the Angel of the kehillah (assembly) in Pergamos, write: These things says he, which has the sharp cherev pifiyot (sword with two edges):
13 I know your works, and where you dwell, even where the kise HaSatan (seat of Satan) is, and you hold fast My Shem (My Name), and have not denied my emunah (faith), even in those days, wherein Antipas was My faithful ed (faithful witness/martyr), who was slain among you, where HaSatan (the Adversary/Satan) dwells.
14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the B'nei Yisrael (children of Israel) (children of Israel), to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit zenut (fornication).
15 So have you also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16 do teshuvah (repent), or else I will come unto you quickly, and will fight against them with the cherev (sword) of my mouth.
17 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) says unto the kehillot (assemblies). To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the man nistar (hidden Manna), and will give him a even levanah (white stone), and in the stone a Shem (Name) chadash (new name) written, which no man knows, except he that receives it.
18 And unto the Angel of the kehillah (assembly) in Thyatira, write: These things says the Ben Elohim (Son of God), who has his eyes like unto a lahav esh (flame of fire), and his feet are like fine brass:
19 I know your works, and ahavah (charity/love), and avodah (service/ministry), and emunah (faith), and your patience, and your works, and the last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding, I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Izevel (Jezebel), which calls herself a neviyah (prophetess), to teach and to seduce my evedim (servants) to commit zenut (fornication), and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to do teshuvah (repent) of her zenut (fornication), and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her, into great tzarah (tribulation), except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death, and all the kehillot (assemblies) shall know that I am he which searches the klayot v'levot (reins and hearts): and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the amukot HaSatan (depths of Satan), as they speak, I will put upon you no other burden:
25 But that which you have already, hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the goyim (nations):
27 And he shall rule them with a shevet barzel (rod of iron): as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My HaAv (My Father).
28 And I will give him the Kochav HaShachar (morning star).
29 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) says unto the kehillot (assemblies).

Chapter 3 Letters to the Sheva Kehillot: Sardis — You Have a Shem that You Live but Are Dead; Philadelphia — I Have Set Before You an Open Door and the Mafteach David; Laodicea — Lukewarm

1 And unto the malach (Angel) of the kehillah (assembly) in Sardis write, These things says he that has the sheva Ruchot Elohim (seven Spirits of God), and the sheva Kochavim (seven Stars); I know your works, that you have a Shem (Name) that you live, and are dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found your works perfect before Elohim (God).
3 Remember therefore, how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and do teshuvah (repent). If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.
4 You have a few names even in Sardis, which have not defiled their garments, and they shall walk with me in lavan (white): for they are worthy.
5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in lavan (white) raiment, and I will not blot out His Shem (His name) out of the Sefer HaChayyim (book of life), but I will confess His Shem (His name) before My HaAv (My Father), and before his malachim (Angels).
6 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) says unto the kehillot (assemblies).
7 And to the malach (Angel) of the kehillah (assembly) in Philadelphia write, These things says HaKadosh (the Holy One), HaEmet (the True One), he that has the mafteach David (key of David — Isa. 22:22), he that opens, and no man shuts, and shuts, and no man opens;
8 I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my Davar (word), and have not denied My Shem (My Name).
9 Behold, I will make them of Beit Knesset HaSatan (the Synagogue of Satan), which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie: behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
10 Because you have kept the Davar (word) of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of nisayon (temptation/trial), which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the aretz (earth).
11 Behold, I come quickly, hold that fast which you have, that no man take your ateret (crown).
12 Him that overcomes, will I make a pillar in the Heichal (Temple) of my Elohim, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the Name of my Elohim, and the name of the City of my Elohim, which is Yerushalayim HaChadashah (new Jerusalem), which comes down out of Shamayim (heaven) from my Elohim: And I will write upon him my Shem chadash (new name).
13 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) says unto the kehillot (assemblies).
14 And unto the malach (Angel) of the kehillah (assembly) of the Laodiceans, write, These things says the Amein, the ed ne'eman v'emet (faithful and true witness), the reshit habri'ah (beginning of the creation) of Elohim (God):
15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot, I would you were cold or hot.
16 So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth:
17 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing: and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
18 I counsel you to buy of me zahav tzaruf ba'esh (gold refined in fire), that you may be rich, and lavan (white) raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear, and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
19 As many as I ahavah (love), I rebuke and chaveen, be zealous therefore, and do teshuvah (repent).
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcomes, will I grant to sit with me in My kise (My throne), even as I also overcame, and am set down with My HaAv (My Father) in His kise (His throne).
22 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) says unto the kehillot (assemblies).

Chapter 4 The Kise (Throne) in Shamayim: The Keshet, the Esrim v'Arba'ah Zekenim, the Arba'ah Chayot (Four Living Creatures), and the Kedushah

1 After this I lookd, and behold, a door was opened in Shamayim (heaven): and the first voice which I heard, was as it were of a shofar, talking with me, which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the Ruach: and behold, a kise (throne) was set in Shamayim (heaven), and one sat on the kise (throne).
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a yashpeh (Jasper — Exod. 28:20), and a odem (Sardius/Carnelian — Exod. 28:17): and there was a keshet (rainbow — Gen. 9:13) round about the kise (throne), in sight like unto an bareqet (Emerald — Exod. 28:17).
4 And round about the kise (throne) were esrim v'arba'ah kisot (twenty-four seats), and upon the seats I saw esrim v'arba'ah Zekenim (twenty-four Elders) sitting, clothed in lavan (white) raiment, and they had on their heads atarot zahav (crowns of gold).
5 And out of the kise (throne) proceeded lightnings, and thunderings, and voices: and there were sheva nerot esh (seven lamps of fire) burning before the kise (throne), which are the sheva Ruchot Elohim (seven Spirits of God).
6 And before the kise (throne) there was a yam zekhukhit (sea of glass/crystal) like unto crystal: and in the midst of the kise (throne), and round about the kise (throne), were four Chayot (living creatures/Chayot — cf. Ezek. 1) full of eyes before and behind.
7 And the first Chayah (living creature — cf. Ezek. 1) was like a Aryeh (Lion), and the second Chayah (living creature — cf. Ezek. 1) like a Egel (Calf), and the third Chayah (living creature — cf. Ezek. 1) had a face as a man, and the fourth Chayah (living creature — cf. Ezek. 1) was like a flying Nesher (Eagle).
8 And the four Chayot (living creatures/Chayot — cf. Ezek. 1) had each of them six wings about him, and they were full of eyes within, and they rest not day and night, saying, Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh (Holy, Holy, Holy — Isa. 6:3), Yahuah El Shaddai (Lord God Almighty), which was, and is, and is to come.
9 And when those Chayot (living creatures/Chayot — cf. Ezek. 1) give kavod (glory), and hadar (honor), and thanks to him that sat on the kise (throne), who lives for ever and ever,
10 The esrim v'arba'ah Zekenim (twenty-four Elders) fall down before him that sat on the kise (throne), and hishtachavah (worship/bow down) him that lives for ever and ever, and cast their atarot (crowns) before the kise (throne), saying,
11 You are worthy, O Lord, to receive kavod (glory), and hadar (honor), and oz (power): for you have nivra'u (created) all things, and for Your pleasure they are, and were nivra'u (created).

Chapter 5 The Sealed Megillah, HaSeh (the Lamb) Who Prevailed — Aryeh miShevet Yehudah, Shoresh David: The Shir Chadash — Ge'altanu (Redeemed Us)

1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the kise (throne), a megillah (scroll/book — cf. Ezek. 2:9-10) written within, and on the backside, sealed with sheva chatamot (seven seals).
2 And I saw a strong malach (Angel) proclaiming with a loud voice; Who is worthy to open the megillah (scroll/book — cf. Ezek. 2:9- 10), and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in Shamayim (heaven), nor in aretz (earth), neither under the aretz (earth), was able to open the megillah (scroll/book — cf. Ezek. 2:9-10), neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open, and to read the megillah (scroll/book — cf. Ezek. 2:9-10), neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the Elders says unto me, Weep not: behold, the Aryeh miShevet Yehudah (Lion of the tribe of Judah — Gen. 49:9), the Shoresh David (Root of David — Isa. 11:1,10), has prevailed to open the megillah (scroll/book — cf. Ezek. 2:9-10), and to loose the sheva chatamot (seven seals) thereof.
6 And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the kise (throne), and of the foure Chayot (living creatures — cf. Ezek. 1), and in the midst of the Elders stood a HaSeh (the Lamb) as it had been slain, having sheva karnayim (seven horns) and sheva einayim (seven eyes), which are the sheva Ruchot Elohim (seven Spirits of God), sent forth into all the aretz (earth).
7 And he came, and took the megillah (scroll/book — cf. Ezek. 2:9-10) out of the right hand of him that sat upon the kise (throne).
8 And when he had taken the megillah (scroll/book — cf. Ezek. 2:9-10), the foure Beasts, and esrim v'arba'ah Zekenim (twenty- four Elders) fell down before HaSeh (the Lamb — cf. Isa. 53:7, Exod. 12:3), having every one of them kinorot (harps/lyres — Temple instruments), and golden misraqot zahav (golden bowls — Temple vessels) full of ketoret (incense — Temple offering), which are the tefillot kedoshim (prayers of the holy ones).
9 And they sang shir chadash (new song — cf. Ps. 96:1, 98:1), saying, You are worthy to take the Booke, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and ge'altanu (redeemed us — cf. Ruth 4, the Kinsman-Redeemer) to Elohim (God) by your dam (blood), out of kol mishpachah (every kindred/family), and tongue, and am (people), and goy (nation):
10 And have made us unto our Elohim (God) melachim v'kohanim (Kings and Priests), and we shall reign on the aretz (earth).
11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many malachim (Angels), round about the kise (throne), and the Chayot (living creatures — cf. Ezek. 1) and the Elders, and the number of them was ribo ribo (ten thousand times ten thousand — cf. Dan. 7:10), and alfei alafim (thousands of thousands — cf. Dan. 7:10),
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is HaSeh (the Lamb — cf. Isa. 53:7, Exod. 12:3) that was slain, to receive oz (power), and osher (riches), and chokhmah (wisdom), and gevurah (strength/might), and hadar (honor), and kavod (glory), and berakhah (blessing).
13 And every creature which is in Shamayim (heaven), and on the aretz (earth), and under the aretz (earth), and such as are in the yam (sea), and all that are in them, heard I, saying, berakhah (blessing), hadar (honor), kavod (glory), and oz (power) be unto him that sits upon the kise (throne), and unto HaSeh (the Lamb — cf. Isa. 53:7, Exod. 12:3) for ever and ever.
14 And the foure Chayot (living creatures — cf. Ezek. 1) said, Amein. And the esrim v'arba'ah Zekenim (twenty-four Elders) fell down and hishtachavah (worshipped/bowed down) him that lives for ever and ever.

Chapter 6 The Sheva Chatamot Opened by HaSeh: Sus Lavan, Sus Adom, Sus Shachor, Sus Yarok — HaMavet v'She'ol; Nefashot at the Mizbeach Cry for Naqam; The Sixth Chatum — Ra'ash, Shemesh Black

1 And I saw when HaSeh (the Lamb — cf. Isa.53:7, Exod.12:3) opened one of the chatamot (seals), and I heard as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four Chayot (living creatures — Ezek.1), saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold, sus lavan (white horse), and he that sat on him had a keshet (bow — same Heb. as rainbow Gen.9:13), and a ateret (crown) was given unto him, and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second chatum (seal), I heard the second Chayah (living creature — Ezek.1) say, Come and see.
4 And there went out sus adom (red horse — bloodshed): and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the aretz (earth), and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him cherev gedolah (great sword).
5 And when he had opened the third chatum (seal), I heard the third Chayah (living creature — Ezek.1) say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo, sus shachor (black horse — famine): and he that sat on him had moznayim (balances/scales — cf. Lev. 19:36) in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four Chayot (living creatures — Ezek.1) say, chomer chittah (a measure of wheat) for a penny, and three measures of se'orim (barley) for a penny, and see you hurt not the shemen v'yayin (oil and wine).
7 And when he had opened the fourth chatum (seal), I heard the voice of the fourth Chayah (living creature — Ezek.1) say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold, sus yarok (pale horse — death), and his name that sat on him was HaMavet v'She'ol (Death and Sheol) followed with him: and power was given unto them, over the fourth part of the aretz (earth) to kill with cherev (sword), and with ra'av (hunger/famine), and with HaMavet (Death), and with the Chayot (living creatures — Ezek.1) of the aretz (earth).

Chapter 7 The Sealing of the Me'ah Arba'im v'Arba'ah Elef from the Shivtei B'nei Yisrael, and the Hamon Rav from Kol Goyim Before the Kise — Bagadim Lavan, Kapot Tamarim, Yeshuah to Elohim

1 And after these things, I saw arba'ah malachim (four Angels) standing on the arba'ah kanfot ha'aretz (four corners of the earth — Isa.11:12), holding the arba'ah ruchot ha'aretz (four winds of the earth), that the wind should not blow on the aretz (earth), nor on the yam (sea), nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another malachim (Angels) ascending from the East, having the chatum El HaChai (seal of the living God): and he cried with a loud voice to the arba'ah malachim (four Angels) to whom it was given to hurt the aretz (earth) and the yam (sea),
3 Saying, Hurt not the aretz (earth), neither the yam (sea), nor the trees, till we have sealed the evedim (servants) of our Elohim (God) in their mitzchot (their foreheads).
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed me'ah arba'im v'arba'ah elef (144,000), of all the tribes of the B'nei Yisrael (children of Israel).
5 Of the Shevet Yehudah (tribe of Judah) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand). Of the Shevet Re'uven (tribe of Reuben) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand). Of the Shevet Gad (tribe of Gad) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand).
6 Of the Shevet Asher (tribe of Asher) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand). Of the Shevet Naftali (tribe of Naphtali) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand). Of the Shevet Menasheh (tribe of Manasseh) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand).
7 Of the Shevet Shim'on (tribe of Simeon) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand). Of the Shevet Levi (tribe of Levi) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand). Of the Shevet Yissachar (tribe of Issachar) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand).
8 Of the Shevet Zevulun (tribe of Zebulun) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand). Of the Shevet Yosef (tribe of Joseph) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand). Of the Shevet Binyamin (tribe of Benjamin) were sealed shnem asar elef (twelve thousand).
9 After this I beheld, and lo, hamon rav (great multitude), which no man could number, of kol goyim (all nations), and mishpachot (kindreds), and am (people), and leshonot (tongues/languages), stood before the kise (throne), and before HaSeh (the Lamb), clothed with bagadim lavan (white robes), and kapot tamarim (palm branches — cf. Lev.23:40, Sukkot):
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Yeshuah (Salvation) to our Elohim (God), which sits upon the kise (throne), and unto HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7).
11 And all the malachim (Angels) stood round about the kise (throne), and about the Elders, and the four Chayot (living creatures — Ezek.1), and fell before the kise (throne) on their faces, and hishtachavah (worshipped) Elohim (God),
12 Saying, Amein: Berakhah (Blessing), and kavod (glory), and chokhmah (wisdom), and todah (thanksgiving), and hadar (honor), and oz (power), and gevurah (might/strength) be unto our Elohim (God) for ever and ever, Amein.
13 And one of the Elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in bagadim lavan (white robes)? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of ha-tzarah hagedolah (the great tribulation), and have washed their robes, and made them lavan (white) in the dam HaSeh (blood of the Lamb).
15 Therefore are they before the kise (throne) of Elohim (God), and serve him day and night in His Heichal (Temple): and he that sits on the kise (throne) shall dwell among them.
16 They lo yir'avu od (shall hunger no more), lo yitzme'u od (nor thirst any more), neither shall the shemesh (sun) light on them, nor any heat.
17 For HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7), which is in the midst of the kise (throne), shall feed them, and shall lead them unto ma'yanot mayim chayyim (living springs of water): and Elohim (God) shall yimcheh et kol dim'ot (wipe away all tears — Isa.25:8) from their eyes.

Chapter 8 HaChatum HaShevi'i (The Seventh Seal) — Dummiyah b'Shamayim; Sheva Shofarot Given to Sheva Malachim; Ketoret and Tefillot Kedoshim; The Four Shofarot Sound — Barad v'Esh v'Dam

1 And when he had opened the HaChatum HaShevi'i (seventh seal), there was silence in Shamayim (heaven) about the space of half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven malachim (Angels) which stood before Elohim (God), and to them were given sheva shofarot (seven shofarot/trumpets).
3 And another malachim (Angels) came and stood at the mizbeach (altar), having a machtah zahav (golden censer — cf. Lev.16, Yom Kippur), and there was given unto him ketoret rabbah (much incense — Temple offering), that he should offer it with the tefillot kol kedoshim (prayers of all the holy ones) upon the mizbeach haZahav (golden altar — the Temple altar of ketoret) which was before the kise (throne).
4 And the smoke of the ketoret (incense — Temple offering) which came with the tefillot kedoshim (prayers of the holy ones), ascended up before Elohim (God), out of the malachim (Angels) hand.
5 And the malachim (Angels) took the machtah (censer — Temple vessel), and filled it with esh hamizbeach (fire of the altar), and cast it into the aretz (earth): and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an ra'ash (earthquake):
6 And the seven malachim (Angels) which had the sheva shofarot (seven shofarot/trumpets), prepared themselves to sound.
7 The first malachim (Angels) sounded, and there followed barad (hail — Seventh Plague of Mitzrayim), and esh v'dam (fire and blood — cf. Joel 2:30), and they were cast upon the aretz (earth), and the third part of trees was saruf (burnt up), and all green grass was saruf (burnt up).
8 And the second malachim (Angels) sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with esh (fire) was cast into the yam (sea), and the third part of the yam (sea) hayu l'dam (became blood — cf. Exod.7:17-21, First Plague).
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the yam (sea), and had life, died, and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 And the third malachim (Angels) sounded, and there fell a great kochav (star) from Shamayim (heaven), burning as it were a lapid (lamp/torch), and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters:
11 And the name of the kochav (star) is called La'anah (Wormwood — cf. Jer.9:15), and the third part of the waters became La'anah (Wormwood — cf. Jer.9:15), and many men died of the waters, because they were hayu marim (became bitter).
12 And the fourth malachim (Angels) sounded, and the third part of the shemesh (sun) was smitten, and the third part of the yareach (moon), and the third part of the kochavim (stars), so as the third part of them was choshech (darkened/darkness): and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
13 And I beheld, and heard an malachim (Angels) flying through the midst of Shamayim (heaven), saying with a loud voice, Oy, Oy, Oy (Woe, Woe, Woe — cf. Isa.5:8-22, Ezek.13:3), to the inhabitants of the aretz (earth), by reason of the other voices of the shofar (shofar/trumpet) of the three malachim (Angels) which are yet to sound.

Chapter 9 The Fifth Shofar — Be'er HaTehom Opened: Arbeh (Locusts); Avaddon King of HaTehom; The Sixth Shofar — Arba'ah Malachim Released from Nahar Perat; Ma'atayim Elef Ribo Horsemen

1 And the fifthh malachim (Angels) sounded, and I saw a star fall from Shamayim (heaven) unto the aretz (earth): and to him was given the key of the Be'er HaTehom (bottomless pit/abyss — the tehom of Gen.1:2).
2 And he opened the Be'er HaTehom (bottomless pit/abyss — the tehom of Gen.1:2), and there arose a ashan (smoke) out of HaTehom (the abyss/deep), as the ashan (smoke) of kivshan gadol (great furnace — cf. Gen.15:17; Exod.9:8), and the shemesh (sun) and the air were darkened, by reason of the ashan (smoke) of HaTehom (the abyss/deep).
3 And there came out of the ashan (smoke) arbeh (locusts — Eighth Plague, Exod.10:4-15) upon the aretz (earth), and unto them was given power, as the akravim (scorpions) of the aretz (earth) have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the aretz (earth), neither any green thing, neither any tree: but only those men which have not the chatum Elohim (seal of God) in their mitzchot (foreheads).
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented chamishah chodashim (five months), and their torment was as the torment of a akravim (scorpions), when he strikes a man.
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
7 And the shapes of the arbeh (locusts — Eighth Plague, Exod.10:4-15) were like unto susim (horses) prepared unto battle, and on their heads were as it were atarot kazahav (crowns like gold), and their faces were as the faces of men.
8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of Aryeh (Lion).
9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was as the sound of merkavot (chariots/Merkavah) of many susim (horses) running to battle.
10 And they had tails like unto akravim (scorpions), and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men chamishah chodashim (five months).
11 And they had a king over them, which is the malachim (Angels) of the Be'er HaTehom (bottomless pit/abyss — the tehom of Gen.1:2), whose name in the lashon Ivrit (Hebrew tongue) is Avaddon (Destruction/Abaddon — cf. Prov.15:11, Job 26:6), but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon.
12 One Oy (Woe) is past, and behold there come two woes more hereafter.
13 And the sixthh malachim (Angels) sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the goldn altar, which is before Elohim (God),
14 Saying to the sixthh malachim (Angels) which had the shofar (shofar), Loose the four malachim (Angels) which are bound in the great Nahar Perat (Euphrates — one of the four rivers of Gan Eden, Gen.2:14).
15 And the four malachim (Angels) were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were ma'atayim elef ribo (200 million): and I heard the number of them.
17 And thus I saw the susim (horses) in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of esh v'gafrit (fire and brimstone — cf. Gen.19:24, Sodom).
18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the esh v'gafrit (fire and brimstone — cf. Gen.19:24, Sodom) which issued out of their mouths.
19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto nachashim (serpents — cf. Gen.3, Nachash), and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these makkot (plagues — same word as Ten Plagues!), yet lo asu teshuvah (repented not) of the works of their hands, that they should not hishtachavah (worship) shedim (demons — cf. Deut.32:17), and elilim (idols/worthless things — cf. Ps.96:5) of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21 Neither they did teshuvah (repented) of their retzachim (murders — from retzach, the Sixth Mitzvah), nor of their kishuf (sorceries — forbidden in Torah), nor of their zenut (fornication), nor of their gnevot (thefts — from lo tignov).

Chapter 10 The Malach Gibbor with the Keshet on His Head and Amudei Esh: The Megillah Ketanah — Sheva Re'amim Sealed; Ein Od Et (Time No Longer); The Raz Elohim Revealed to the Evedav

1 And I saw malach gibbor (mighty Angel — cf. Dan.10:5-6) come down from Shamayim (heaven), clothed with a cloud, and a keshet (rainbow — cf. Gen.9:13) was upon his head, and his panim k'shemesh (face as the sun), and his feet as amudei esh (pillars of fire — cf. Exod.13:21-22, the Exodus!).
2 And he had in his hand a megillah ketanah (little scroll — cf. Ezek.2:8-3:3!) open: and he set his right foot upon the yam (sea), and his left foot on the aretz (earth),
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a Aryeh sho'eg (Lion roars — cf. Amos 3:8): and when he had cried, sheva re'amim (seven thunders — cf. Ps.29, the voice of Yahuah) uttered their voices.
4 And when the sheva re'amim (seven thunders — cf. Ps.29, the voice of Yahuah) had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from Shamayim (heaven), saying unto me, Chatom (Seal up — same root as chatamot) those things which the sheva re'amim (seven thunders — cf. Ps.29, the voice of Yahuah) uttered, and write them not.
5 And the malachim (Angels) which I saw stand upon the yam (sea), and upon the aretz (earth), lifted up his hand to Shamayim (heaven),
6 And nishba b'Chai l'Olamim (swore by Him who lives forever) for ever and ever, who created Shamayim (heaven), and the things that therein are, and the aretz (earth), and the things that therein are, and the yam (sea), and the things which are therein, that ein od et (time no longer).
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh malachim (Angels), when he shall begin to sound, the raz Elohim (mystery of God — cf. Amos 3:7) should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the neviim (prophets).
8 And the voice which I heard from Shamayim (heaven) spoke unto me again, and said, Go, and take the megillah ketanah (little scroll — cf. Ezek.2:8-3:3!) which is open in the hand of the malachim (Angels) which stands upon the yam (sea), and upon the aretz (earth).
9 And I went unto the malachim (Angels), and said unto him, Give me the megillah ketanah (little scroll — cf. Ezek.2:8-3:3!). And he said unto me, Take it, and ochlenu (eat it up — cf. Ezek.2:8-3:3!), and it shall make your bitni mara (belly bitter — cf. Ezek.3:14), but it shall be in your pi matok k'dvash (sweet as honey — cf. Ezek.3:3; Ps.119:103).
10 And I took the megillah ketanah (little scroll — cf. Ezek.2:8-3:3!) out of the malachim (Angels)'s hand, and ochaltihu (ate it up — cf. Ezek.3:2), and it was in my pi matok k'dvash (sweet as honey — cf. Ezek.3:3; Ps.119:103): and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was mar (bitter).
11 And he said unto me, Hinnave od (You must prophesy again — cf. Ezek.37:4) again before many amim (peoples), and goyim (nations), and leshonot (tongues/languages), and melachim (kings).

Chapter 11 The Qaneh and the Heichal — Shney Edim (Two Witnesses): Shney Zeitim and Shney Menorot; Eliyahu and Moshe; The Seventh Shofar — Mamlakhot Ha'Olam L'Yahuah; The Heichal Opened

1 And there was given me a qaneh (measuring reed) like unto a rod, and the malachim (Angels) stood, saying, Rise, and mad et HaHeichal (measure the Temple — cf. Ezek.40- 41) of Elohim (God), and the mizbeach (altar), and them that hishtachavah (worship) therein.
2 But the chatzer hachutz (outer court) the Heichal (Temple) leave out, and measure it not: for it is given unto the goyim (Gentiles/nations), and Ir HaKodesh (holy city) shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 And I will give power unto my shney edim (two witnesses — cf. Deut.17:6, 19:15), and they shall prophesy a elef matayim shishim yom (1260 days = 42 months — cf. Dan.12:11) clothed in saq (sackcloth).
4 These are the shney zeitim (two olive trees — cf. Zech.4:3,11-14!), and the two candlesticks, standing before the Elohim (God) of the aretz (earth).
5 And if any man will hurt them, esh yotze mi'pihem (fire from their mouth — cf. Jer.5:14), and devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to yisgeru et Shamayim (shut heaven — cf. 1 Kgs.17:1, Eliyahu), that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the aretz (earth) with kol makkot (all plagues — cf. Exod.7-12, Moshe), as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, HaChayah ha'olah min ha-tehom (the beast from the abyss), shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of ha-ir ha-gedolah (the great city), which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Yahuah (Lord) was nitzlav (crucified).
9 And they of the people, and kindreds, and leshonot (tongues/languages), and nations, shall see their dead bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the aretz (earth) shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another, because these two neviim (prophets) tormented them that dwelt on the aretz (earth).
11 And after three days and a half the Ruach Chayyim (Spirit/Breath of Life — cf. Gen.2:7), entered into them: and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from Shamayim (heaven), saying unto them, Aleh henah (Come up here — cf. Rev.4:1). And they ascended up to Shamayim (heaven) in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great ra'ash (earthquake), and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the ra'ash (earthquake) were slain of men seven thousand: and the she'erit (remnant — she'erit Yisrael) were afraid, and gave kavod (glory) to the Elohim (God) of Shamayim (heaven).
14 The second Oy (Woe) is past, and behold, the third Oy (Woe) comes quickly.
15 And the seventh malachim (Angels) sounded, and there were great voices in Shamayim (heaven), saying, The mamlakhot ha'olam hayu l'Yahuah u'l'Mashiach (the kingdoms of this world become Yahuah's and His Mashiach's), and he shall yimloch l'olmei olamim (shall reign forever and ever).
16 And the four and twenty Elders which sat before Elohim (God) on their seats, fell upon their faces, and hishtachavah (worship/bow down) Elohim (God),
17 Saying, Modim anachnu lakh (We give thanks — cf. the Modim prayer!), O Yahuah (Lord) Elohim (God) Almighty, which are, and were, and are to come; because you have taken to you your great power, and have reignd.
18 And the nations were angry, and af Yahuah ba (Your wrath has come), and the time of the dead that they should be judged, and that you should give reward unto your servants the neviim (prophets), and to the kedoshim (holy ones/saints), and them that fear your Name, small and great, and should destroy them which destroy the aretz (earth).
19 And the Heichal (Temple) of Elohim (God) was opened in Shamayim (heaven), and there was seen in His Heichal (Temple) the Aron HaBriyt (Ark of the Covenant — cf. Exod.25:10-22!), and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an ra'ash (earthquake), and great barad (hail).

Chapter 12 The Ot Gadol b'Shamayim — The Woman and HaTanin HaAdom: Mikha'el u'Malachav War Against the Tanin; HaNachash HaKadmon Cast to Aretz — HaMalshin Achinu (The Accuser)

1 And there appeared a great wonder in Shamayim (heaven), a woman clothed with the Sun, and the Moon under her feet, and upon her head a Crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child, cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another wonder in Shamayim (heaven), and behold HaTanin HaAdom gadol (the great red dragon — tanin cf. Isa.27:1, Ezek.29:3), having seven heads, and ten karnayim (horns — karnayim), and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of Shamayim (heaven), and did cast them to the aretz (earth): And the tanin (dragon/sea monster — cf. Gen.1:21, Isa.27:1) stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to lirdot kol goyim b'shevet barzel (rule all nations with a rod of iron — Ps.2:9) with a shevet barzel (rod of iron — cf. Ps.2:9): and her child was caught up unto Elohim (God), and to his kise (throne).
6 And the woman fled into the midbar (wilderness — midbar), where she has a place prepared of Elohim (God), that they should feed her there a elef matayim shishim yom (1260 days = 42 months — cf. Dan.12:11).
7 And there was war in Shamayim (heaven), Mikha'el (Michael — cf. Dan.10:13, 12:1) and his malachim (Angels) fought against the tanin (dragon/sea monster — cf. Gen.1:21, Isa.27:1), and the tanin (dragon/sea monster — cf. Gen.1:21, Isa.27:1) fought and his malachim (Angels),
8 And prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in Shamayim (heaven).
9 And HaTanin HaGadol (the great dragon/sea monster — cf. Isa.27:1) was cast out, HaNachash HaKadmon (the ancient serpent — cf. Gen.3), called the HaSatan (the Adversary) and HaSatan (the Adversary), which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the aretz (earth), and his malachim (Angels) were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in Shamayim (heaven), Now is come yeshuah (salvation), and strength, and the malkhut (kingdom) of our Elohim (God), and the power of his HaMashiach (Messiah): for the HaMalshin achinu (accuser of our brethren) is cast down, which accused them before our Elohim (God) day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the dam (blood) of the HaSeh (the Lamb), and by the davar edutam (word of their testimony), and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore simchu Shamayim (Rejoice, O Shamayim — cf. Ps.96:11, Isa.44:23), and you that dwell in them; Oy l'yoshvei ha'aretz v'hayam (Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and sea): for the HaSatan (the Adversary) is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.
13 And when the tanin (dragon/sea monster — cf. Gen.1:21, Isa.27:1) saw that he was cast unto the aretz (earth), he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given shney kanfei Nesher gadol (two wings of a great Eagle — cf. Exod.19:4!), that she might flee into the midbar (wilderness — midbar) into her place, where she is nourished for mo'ed, mo'adim, v'chatzi (time, times, and half a time — Dan.7:25, 12:7!), from the face of the nachash (serpent — cf. Gen.3).
15 And the nachash (serpent — cf. Gen.3) cast out of his mouth water as a nahar (river/flood), after the woman: that he might cause her to be carried away of the nahar (river/flood).
16 And the aretz (earth) helped the woman, and the aretz (earth) opened her mouth, and swallowed up the nahar (river/flood) which the tanin (dragon/sea monster — cf. Gen.1:21, Isa.27:1) cast out of his mouth.
17 And the tanin (dragon/sea monster — cf. Gen.1:21, Isa.27:1) was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the she'erit zar'ah (remnant of her seed), which keep the mitzvot (commandments) of Elohim (God), and have the edut (testimony) of Jesus HaMashiach (Messiah).

Chapter 13 HaChayah min ha-Yam (Dan.7) — Namer, Dov, Aryeh; Mi k'HaChayah?; Gidduf Against the Mishkan; Tzelem HaChayah; The Tav (תָּו) — Counterfeit of Ezek.9:4; Mispar HaChayah — 666

1 And I stood upon the sand of the yam (sea): and saw a beast rise up out of the yam (sea), having sheva rashim v'eser karnayim (seven heads and ten horns — cf. Dan.7), and upon his karnayim (horns) eser atarot (ten crowns), and upon his heads, the shem gidduf (name of blasphemy).
2 And HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7) which I saw, was like unto a namer (leopard — cf. Dan.7:6, third beast), and his feet were as the feet of a dov (bear — cf. Dan.7:5, second beast), and his mouth as the mouth of a Aryeh (Lion — Dan.7:4): and the tanin (dragon/sea monster) gave him his power, and his kise (seat/throne), and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death, and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7).
4 And they hishtachavah (worship/bow down)- hishtachavahped the tanin (dragon/sea monster) which gave power unto HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7), and they hishtachavah (worship/bow down)-hishtachavahped HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7), saying, Mi k'HaChayah (Who is like the Beast? — inverts Mi Kamocha (Exod.15:11))? Who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth, speaking great things, and blasphemies, and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in gidduf (blasphemy) against Elohim (God), to blaspheme his Name, and his Mishkan (Tabernacle — cf. Exod.25-40), and them that dwelt in Shamayim (heaven).
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the kedoshim (holy ones/saints), and to overcome them: And power was given him over all kindreds, and leshonot (tongues/languages), and goyim (nations).
8 And all that dwell upon the aretz (earth), shall hishtachavah (worship/bow down) him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7), slain from the yesod ha'olam (foundation of the world).
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear:
10 He that leads into captivity, shall go into captivity: He that kills with the sword, must be killed with the sword. Here is the savlanut v'emunah hakedoshim (patience and faith of the holy ones — cf. Rev.14:12).
11 And I beheld HaChayah Acheret min ha- aretz (another beast from the earth — the false prophet), and he had shney karnayim k'HaSeh (two horns like a lamb — the false prophet), and he spoke as a tanin (dragon/sea monster).
12 And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the aretz (earth) and them which dwell therein, to hishtachavah (worship/bow down) the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he does great otot u'moftim (signs and wonders), so that he makes esh (fire) come down from Shamayim (heaven) on the aretz (earth) in the sight of men,
14 And deceives them that dwell on the aretz (earth), by the means of those otot u'moftim (signs and wonders) which he had power to do in the sight of HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7), saying to them that dwell on the aretz (earth), that they should make an tzelem (image — same word as Dan.3 Nebuch.'s statue; also Gen.1:26) to HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7) which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the tzelem (image — same word as Dan.3 Nebuch.'s statue; also Gen.1:26) of HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7), that the tzelem (image — same word as Dan.3 Nebuch.'s statue; also Gen.1:26) of HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7) should both speak, and cause that as many as would not hishtachavah (worship/bow down) the tzelem (image — same word as Dan.3 Nebuch.'s statue; also Gen.1:26) of HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7), should be killed.
16 And he causes all, both smalll and great, rich and poor, free and eved (servant/bondman) — bondservant, to receive a tav (mark/tav (תָּו) — the last letter; cf. Ezek.9:4 where tav marks the righteous!) in their right hand, or in their mitzchot (foreheads):
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the tav (mark/tav (תָּו) — the last letter; cf. Ezek.9:4 where tav marks the righteous!), or the name of HaChayah (the Beast — cf. Dan.7), or the number of his name.
18 Here is chokhmah (wisdom). Let him that has binah (understanding), count the mispar HaChayah (number of the beast): for it is the number of a man, and his number is, six hundred three score and six.

Chapter 14 HaSeh on Har Tziyon with Me'ah Arba'im v'Arba'ah Elef — Shem HaAv in Mitzchot; Shir Chadash; Bikkurim; Ein Mirmah; Besorah Olam; Nafal Nafal Bavel; Ashrei HaMeitim; Ben Adam

1 And I looked, and lo, a HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7, Exod.12:3) stood on the Har Tziyon (Mount Zion — cf. Ps.2:6, Joel 2:32, Isa.24:23), and with him an me'ah arba'im v'arba'ah elef (144,000 — the sealed of Yisrael), having his Father's Name written in their mitzchot (foreheads — cf. Ezek.9:4, the tav).
2 And I heard a voice from Shamayim (heaven), as the mayim rabbim (voice of many waters — cf. Ezek.1:24, Ps.29), and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of kinorot (harps/lyres — Temple instruments)-players, kinoroting with their kinorots.
3 And they sang as it were a shir chadash (new song — cf. Ps.96:1, 98:1) before the kise (throne), and before the four beasts, and the Zekenim (Elders), and no man could learn that song, but the me'ah arba'im v'arba'ah elef (144,000 — the sealed of Yisrael), which were ge'ulim min ha'aretz (redeemed from the earth — ga'al).
4 These are they which were not defiled with women: for they are betulim (virgins — the pure ones): These are they which follow the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7, Exod.12:3) wheresoever he goes: These were ge'ulim m'ein ha-anashim (redeemed from among men), being the bikkurim (firstfruits — cf. Exod.23:19, Lev.23:17) unto Elohim (God), and to the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7, Exod.12:3).
5 And in their mouth was found ein mirmah (no guile/deceit — cf. Isa.53:9, the Suffering Servant!): for they are without fault before the kise (throne) of Elohim (God).
6 And I saw another malachim (Angels) fly in the midst of Shamayim (heaven), having the Besorah Olam (everlasting Good News/Gospel), to preach unto them that dwell on the aretz (earth), and to every nation, and kindred, and leshonot (tongues), and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Yiru et Elohim v'tenu Lo Kavod (Fear Elohim and give Him kavod — cf. Ps.96:7-8) to him, for the hour of his mishpat (judgment) is come: and hishtachavah (worship/bow down) him that made Shamayim (heaven) and aretz (earth), and the yam (sea), and the ma'yanot mayim (springs/fountains of water).
8 And there followed another malachim (Angels), saying, Nafal, nafal Bavel (Fallen, fallen is Bavel — cf. Isa.21:9! Exact quotation!), that great city, because she made all goyim (nations) drink of the yayin (wine) of the wrath of her zenut (fornication).
9 And the third malachim (Angels) followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man hishtachavah (worship/bow down) the beast and his image, and receive his tav (tav/mark (תָּו) — cf. Ezek.9:4) in his mitzcho, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the yayin (wine) of the wrath of Elohim (God), which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his za'am (indignation/wrath), and he shall be tormented with esh (fire) and gafrit (brimstone/sulfur), in the presence of the holy malachim (Angels), and in the presence of the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7, Exod.12:3):
11 And the ashan inyam (smoke of their torment) ascends up for ever and ever. And they have no rest day nor night, who hishtachavah (worship/bow down) the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the tav (tav/mark (תָּו) — cf. Ezek.9:4) of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the kedoshim (holy ones/saints): Here are they that keep the mitzvot (commandments) of Elohim (God), and the faith of Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from Shamayim (heaven), saying unto me, Write, Ashrei hameitim (Blessed/happy are the dead — cf. Ps.1:1, the Beatitudes!) which die in the Lord, from henceforth, yea, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours, and their works do follow them.
14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Ben Adam (Son of Man — cf. Dan.7:13), having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a skinorot magal (sickle — cf. Joel 3:13).
15 And another malachim (Angels) came out of the Heichal (Temple) crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud: Thrust in your magal (sickle — cf. Joel 3:13) and reap, for the time is come for you to reap, for the katzir ha'aretz basha (harvest of the earth is ripe — cf. Joel 3:13!).
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his magal (sickle — cf. Joel 3:13) on the aretz (earth), and the aretz (earth) was reaped.
17 And another malachim (Angels) came out of the Heichal (Temple) which is in Shamayim (heaven), he also having a skinorot magal (sickle — cf. Joel 3:13).
18 And another malachim (Angels) came out from the Altar, which had power over esh (fire), and cried with a loud cry to him, that had the skinorot magal (sickle — cf. Joel 3:13), saying, Thrust in your skinorot magal (sickle — cf. Joel 3:13), and gather the clusters of the gefen ha'aretz (vine of the earth), for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the malachim (Angels) thrust in his magal (sickle — cf. Joel 3:13) into the aretz (earth), and gathered the gefen ha'aretz (vine of the earth), and cast it into the gat haGadol chemah Elohim (great winepress of God's wrath — cf. Isa.63:3!).
20 And the gat (winepress — cf. Isa.63:3 "I have trodden the gat alone"!) was trodden without the city, and dam (blood) came out of the gat (winepress — cf. Isa.63:3 "I have trodden the gat alone"!), even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Chapter 15 Sheva Makkot Acharonot (Seven Last Plagues); Yam Zekhukhit m'Ulevet b'Esh — Shirat Moshe Eved Elohim and Shirat HaSeh; Gedolot v'Nifla'ot; Heichal HaMishkan HaEdut Opened

1 And I saw another sign in Shamayim (heaven) great and marvelous, seven malachim (Angels) having the sheva makkot acharonot (seven last plagues — makkot like the Ten Plagues!), for in them is filled up the wrath of Elohim (God).
2 And I saw as it were a yam zekhukhit m'ulevet b'esh (sea of glass mingled with fire — cf. Rev.4:6), and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his tav (tav/mark — cf. Ezek.9:4), and over the number of his name, stand on the yam (sea) of glass, having the kinorots of Elohim (God).
3 And they sing the song of Moses the eved (servant) of Elohim (God), and the Shirat HaSeh (Song of the Lamb), saying, Gedolot v'Nifla'ot ma'asekha (Great and marvelous are Your works — cf. Ps.111:2, Hallel!), Yahuah El Shaddai (Lord God Almighty), Tzodek v'Emet darkekha (Just and true are Your ways — cf. Deut.32:4, Ha'azinu), You Melech haKedoshim (King of the holy ones — cf. Jer.10:7).
4 Mi lo Yira'ekha Yahuah (Who shall not fear You, O Yahuah — cf. Jer.10:7!), and glorify your Name? for You only are holy: for all goyim (nations) shall come and hishtachavah (worship) before You, for your judgments are made manifest.
5 And after that I looked, and behold, the Heichal HaMishkan HaEdut (Temple of the Tabernacle of Testimony — cf. Num.1:50!) in Shamayim (heaven) was opened:
6 And the seven malachim (Angels) came out of the Heichal (Temple), having the seven makkot (plagues — same word as Ten Plagues of Mitzrayim!), clothed in butz tahor v'lavan (pure white linen — butz, Temple fabric — Exod.39), and having their breasts girded with golden avnet zahav (golden girdles — priestly garments, cf. Exod.28:4).
7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven malachim (Angels), seven golden misraqot zahav (golden bowls — Temple vessels — cf. Num.7), full of the wrath of Elohim (God), who lives for ever and ever.
8 And the Heichal male b'ashan v'kavod Elohim (Temple filled with smoke from God's glory — cf. Isa.6:4, Exod.40:34, 1 Kgs.8:10!) of Elohim (God), and from his power, and no man was able to enter into the Heichal (Temple), till the seven makkot (plagues — same word as Ten Plagues of Mitzrayim!) of the seven malachim (Angels) were fulfilled.

Chapter 16 Sheva Misraqot Chemah Elohim — Seven Bowls of Wrath; Dam, Choshech, Tzfarde'im, Barad Gadol; Milchemet Yom HaGadol at Har Megiddo (Armageddon); Nigmar! Bavel Remembered

1 And I heard a great voice out of the Heichal (Temple), saying to the seven malachim (Angels), Go your ways, and sh'fu et misraqot chemah Elohim (pour out the bowls of God's wrath) of the af of Elohim (God) upon the aretz (earth).
2 And the first went, and sh'fu et misraqot (poured out the bowl) upon the aretz (earth), and there fell a loathsome and grievous sore upon the men which had the tav (tav/mark — cf. Ezek.9:4) of HaChayah (the Beast), and upon them which hishtachavah (worship/bow down)- hishtachavahped his image.
3 And the second malachim (Angels) sh'fu et misraqot (poured out the bowl) upon the yam (sea), and it hayu l'dam (became blood — cf. Exod.7:17-21, First Plague) of a dead man: and every living nefesh (soul) died in the yam (sea).
4 And the third malachim (Angels) sh'fu et misraqot (poured out the bowl) upon the rivers and fountains of waters, and they hayu l'dam (became blood — cf. Exod.7:17-21, First Plague).
5 And I heard the malachim (Angels) of the waters say, You are righteous, O Lord, which are, and were, and shall be, because You have judged thus:
6 For they have shafkhu dam kedoshim v'neviim (shed the blood of the holy ones and prophets), and You have given them dam lishtot (blood to drink — the irony of judgment): for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord Elohim (God) Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.
8 And the fourth malachim (Angels) sh'fu et misraqot (poured out the bowl) upon the shemesh (sun), and power was given unto him to scorch men with esh (fire).
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and giddefu et Shem Elohim (blasphemed the Name of God — gidduf), which has power over these makkot (plagues): and they lo asu teshuvah (repented not — did not do teshuvah), to give him kavod (glory).
10 And the fifthh malachim (Angels) sh'fu et misraqot (poured out the bowl) upon the kise (seat/throne) of HaChayah (the Beast), and his malkhut (kingdom) was full of darkness, and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And giddefu et Elohim (blasphemed God) of Shamayim (heaven), because of their pains, and their sores, and lo asu teshuvah (repented not — did not do teshuvah) of their deeds.
12 And the sixthh malachim (Angels) sh'fu et misraqot (poured out the bowl) upon the great river Nahar Perat (Euphrates — cf. Gen.2:14, Gan Eden), and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the melachei hamizrach (Kings of the East) might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like tzfarde'im (frogs — Second Plague of Mitzrayim, Exod.7:28!) come out of the mouth of the tanin (dragon), and out of the mouth of HaChayah (the Beast), and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils working otot (signs/wonders), which go forth unto the melachim (kings) of the aretz (earth), and of the whole world, to gather them to the milchemet of that great day of Elohim (God) Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Ashrei (Blessed/happy — cf. Ps.1:1, the Beatitudes) that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place, called in the lashon Ivrit (Hebrew tongue), Har Megiddo (Armageddon = Har (mountain) + Megiddo — cf. Judg.5:19, Zech.12:11).
17 And the seventh malachim (Angels) sh'fu et misraqot (poured out the bowl) into the air, and there came a great voice out of the Heichal (Temple) of Shamayim (heaven), from the kise (throne), saying, Nigmar (It is done/finished — cf. Yeshua's last words).
18 And there were voices and thunders, and lightnings: and there was a great ra'ash (earthquake), such as was not since men were upon the aretz (earth), so mighty an ra'ash (earthquake), and so great.
19 And the great City was divided into three parts, and the irs of the goyim (nations) fell: and great Bavel (Babylon) came in remembrance before Elohim (God), to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his af.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of Shamayim (heaven), every stone about the weight of a talent, and men giddefu et Elohim (blasphemed God), because of the makkah (plague) of the hail: for the makkah (plague) thereof was exceeding great.

Chapter 17 HaZonah HaGedolah Yoshevet al Mayim Rabbim — Argaman v'Shani; Kos Zahav; Raz — Bavel HaGedolah, Em haZonot, Shikotzim; Dam HaKedoshim v'Edei Yeshua; Adon ha'Adonim

1 And there came one of the seven malachim (Angels), which had the seven misraqot (bowls/vials), and talked with me, saying unto me, Come here, I will show unto you the judgment of haZonah haGedolah (the great Harlot/Zonah — cf. Ezek.16, Hos.1-3, Jer.51:7), that sits upon mayim rabbim (many waters — cf. Jer.51:13: Bavel on mayim rabbim):
2 With whom the melachim (kings) of the aretz (earth) have committed zenut (fornication/harlotry), and the inhabitants of the aretz (earth) have been made drunk with the wine of her zenut (fornication/harlotry).
3 So he carried me away in the Ruach (in the Spirit) into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of gidduf, having seven heads, and eser karnayim (ten horns — cf. Dan.7:7).
4 And the woman was arrayed in argaman v'shani (purple and scarlet — TEMPLE colors! cf. Exod.26-28, the Mishkan!) color, and decked with zahav (gold), and avanim yekarot (precious stones) and pearls, having a kos zahav (golden cup — cf. Jer.51:7: Bavel was a kos zahav in Yahuah's hand!) in her hand, full of shikotzim (abominations/detestable things — shikotzim) and tum'at (filthiness/uncleanness) of her zenut (fornication/harlotry).
5 And upon her mitzcho was a name written, Raz (Mystery/Secret — raz), Bavel HaGedolah (Babylon the Great — cf. Isa.21:9), The Mother Of Zonot (Harlots), And Abomigoyim Of The aretz (earth).
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the dam (blood) of the Saints, and with the dam (blood) of the edei Yeshua HaMashiach (martyrs/witnesses of Yeshua HaMashiach): and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the malachim (Angels) said unto me, Why did you marvel? I will tell you the Raz (Mystery/Secret — raz) of the woman, and of HaChayah (the Beast) that carries her, which has the seven heads, and eser karnayim (ten horns — cf. Dan.7:7).
8 HaChayah (the Beast) that you saw, was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the Be'er HaTehom (bottomless pit), and go into perdition, and they that dwell on the aretz (earth) shall wonder, whose names were not written in the Sefer HaChayyim (book of life) from the yesod ha'olam (foundation of the world), when they behold HaChayah (the Beast) that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which has chokhmah (wisdom). The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.
10 And there are seven melachim (kings), five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come: and when he comes, he must continue a short space.
11 And HaChayah (the Beast) that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.
12 And the eser karnayim (ten horns — cf. Dan.7:7) which you saw, are ten melachim (kings), which have received no malkhut (kingdom) as yet: but receive power as melachim (kings) one hour with HaChayah (the Beast).
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto HaChayah (the Beast).
14 These shall make war with HaSeh (the Lamb), and HaSeh (the Lamb) shall overcome them: For he is Adon ha'Adonim (Lord of Lords — cf. Deut.10:17, Ps.136:3, Dan.2:47), and Melech HaMelachim (King of kings — cf. Dan.2:47; Ezra 7:12), and they that are with him, are keru'im (called — the keru'im), and bechirim (chosen/elect — bechirim Yisrael), and faithful.
15 And he says unto me, The waters which you saw, where the Zonah (Harlot/Prostitute — cf. Ezek.16, Hos.1-3) sits, are amim (peoples), and hamonot (multitudes), and goyim (nations), and leshonot (tongues/languages).
16 And the eser karnayim (ten horns — cf. Dan.7:7) which you saw upon HaChayah (the Beast), these shall hate the Zonah (Harlot/Prostitute — cf. Ezek.16, Hos.1-3), and shall make her shomemah (desolate — cf. Ezek.16:39), and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with esh (fire).
17 For Elohim (God) has put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their malkhut (kingdom) unto HaChayah (the Beast), until the words of Elohim (God) shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which you saw, is that great city which reigns over the melachim (kings) of the aretz (earth).

Chapter 18 Nafal Nafal Bavel HaGedolah — Me'on Shedim; Tze'u Minah Ami — Come Out!; Yoshevet k'Malkah; Oy Oy ha-Ir ha- Gedolah; Butz, Argaman v'Shani, Levonah; Rechayim into Yam

1 And after these things, I saw another malachim (Angels) come down from Shamayim (heaven), having great power, and the aretz (earth) was lightened with his kavod (glory).
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Bavel (Babylon) the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a kli kol oph tame v'sanu'i (cage of every unclean hateful bird — cf. Isa.13:21, Jer.50:39):
3 For all goyim (nations) have drunk of the yayin (wine) of the wrath of her zenut (fornication), and the melachim (kings) of the aretz (earth) have committed zenut (fornication) with her, and the sochrim (merchants — sochrim) of the aretz (earth) are grown rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from Shamayim (heaven), saying, Tze'u minah ami (Come out of her, My people! — cf. Isa.48:20, Jer.50:8, 51:6,45!), that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues:
5 For her sins have reached unto Shamayim (heaven), and Elohim zachar et avonoteiha (Elohim remembered her iniquities — cf. Jer.51:9).
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and kaflayim lah kaflayim (double unto her double — cf. Jer.50:15,29; Isa.40:2) according to her works: in the cup which she has filled, fill to her double.
7 How much she has glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she says in her heart, Yoshevet ani k'Malkah v'almanah eineni (I sit as Queen and am no almanah — cf. Isa.47:7-8! Bavel's boast), and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, HaMavet, v'avelut, v'ra'av (death, mourning, and famine), and she shall be tirof b'esh (utterly burnt with fire — cf. Jer.50:32), for strong is Yahuah Elohim shofetah (Yahuah Elohim who judges her — Tzaddik HaShofet).
9 And the melachim (kings) of the aretz (earth), who have committed zenut (fornication), and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her and lament for her, when they shall see the ashan b'aroteha (smoke of her burning — cf. Isa.34:10, smoke ascends forever):
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Oy, Oy (Woe, Woe — prophetic lament), that great city Bavel (Babylon), that mighty city: for in sha'ah achat (one hour — sha'ah achat) is your judgment come.
11 And the sochrim (merchants — sochrim) of the aretz (earth) shall weep and mourn over her, for no man buys their merchandise any more.
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine butz (fine linen — butz, Temple fabric Exod.39), and argaman (purple — Temple curtain color Exod.26), and silk, and shani (scarlet — Temple curtain color Exod.26), and all Thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and incense, and ointments, and levonah (frankincense — Temple ketoret, cf. Exod.30), and yayin (wine), and oil, and fine flour, and chittah (wheat), and cattle, and sheep, and susim (horses), and merkavot (chariots/Merkavah), and slaves, and souls of men.
14 And the fruits that your soul ta'avah (lusted — ta'avah, cf. Num.11:4) after, are departed from you, and all things which were dainty, and pleasant, are departed from you, and you shall find them no more at all.
15 The sochrim (merchants — sochrim) of these things which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing.
16 And saying, Oy, Oy (Woe, Woe — prophetic lament), that great city, that was clothed in fine butz (fine linen — butz, Temple fabric Exod.39), and argaman (purple — Temple curtain color Exod.26) and shani (scarlet — Temple curtain color Exod.26), and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls:
17 For in sha'ah achat (one hour — sha'ah achat) so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by yam (sea), stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the ashan b'aroteha (smoke of her burning — cf. Isa.34:10, smoke ascends forever), saying, What city is like unto this great city?
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping, and wailing, saying, Oy, Oy (Woe, Woe — prophetic lament), that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the yam (sea), by reason of her costliness, for in sha'ah achat (one hour — sha'ah achat) is she made desolate.
20 Rejoice over her you Shamayim (heaven), and you shlichim hakedoshim (holy apostles/sent ones) and neviim (prophets), for Elohim (God) has avenged you on her.
21 And a malach gibbor threw rechayim into the yam (great millstone thrown into sea — cf. Jer.51:63-64, Yirmeyahu's megillah!), saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Bavel (Babylon) be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of kinorot-players and musicians, and of chalilim (pipers/flutes), and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in you: and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in you: and the sound of a rechayim (millstone — cf. Jer.51:63-64) shall be heard no more at all in you:
23 And the or ner (light of a lamp/candle — cf. the Menorah) shall shine no more at all in you: and the voice of the kallahgroom and of the kallah (bride — cf. Jer.7:34) shall be heard no more at all in you: for your sochrim (merchants — sochrim) were the great men of the aretz (earth): for by your kishuf (sorceries — forbidden in Torah) were all goyim (nations) deceived.
24 And in her was found the dam neviim v'kedoshim (blood of neviim and kedoshim — cf. Matt.23:35), and of all that were slain upon the aretz (earth).

Chapter 19 HalleluYAH! (Hebrew! Praise Yahuah!) — Chasunah HaSeh (The Wedding of the Lamb); Butz Tahor v'Lavan — Tzedakot Kedoshim; Ashrei haqeruim; Sus Lavan — HaDavar Elohim

1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in Shamayim (heaven), saying, HalleluYAH (HalleluYAH — Hebrew! Praise Yahuah! — the ONLY NT use of this Hebrew word!): yeshuah (salvation), and kavod (glory), and hadar (honor), and oz (power) unto the Lord our Elohim (God):
2 For emet v'tzedek mishpatav (true and righteous judgments — cf. Deut.32:4, Ha'azinu), for he has judged the great whore which did corrupt the aretz (earth) with her zenut (fornication), and has avenged the dam (blood) of his servants at her hand.
3 And again they said, HalleluYAH (HalleluYAH — Hebrew! Praise Yahuah! — the ONLY NT use of this Hebrew word!): and her ashan olah l'olmei olamim (smoke ascends forever — cf. Isa.34:10) and ever.
4 And the esrim v'arba'ah Zekenim (twenty- four Elders), and the arba'ah Chayot (four living creatures) fell down, and hishtachavah (worshipped/bowed down) Elohim (God) that sat on the kise (throne), saying, Amein, HalleluYAH (HalleluYAH — Hebrew! Praise Yahuah! — the ONLY NT use of this Hebrew word!).
5 And a voice came out of the kise (throne), saying, HalleluYAH et Eloheinu kol evedav (Praise our Elohim — HalleluYAH, all His evedim!), and you that fear him, both small and great.
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great hamon rav (great multitude), and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, HalleluYAH (HalleluYAH — Hebrew! Praise Yahuah! — the ONLY NT use of this Hebrew word!): for the Lord Elohim (God) omnipotent reigns.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give hadar (honor) to him: for the chasunah (marriage/wedding — cf. Hos.2:19-20) of HaSeh (the Lamb) is come, and his wife has made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted, that she should be arrayed in fine butz (fine linen — butz, Temple fabric Exod.39), clean and white: for the fine butz (fine linen — butz, Temple fabric Exod.39) is the tzedakot kedoshim (righteousness of the holy ones).
9 And he says unto me, Write, Ashrei haqeruim (Blessed/Ashrei are those called — cf. Ps.1:1, the Beatitudes) which are called unto the chasunah (marriage/wedding — cf. Hos.2:19-20) supper of HaSeh (the Lamb). And he says unto me, These are the true sayings of Elohim (God).
10 And I fell at his feet to hishtachavah (worship/bow down) him: And he said unto me, See you do it not: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren, that have the edut Yeshua (testimony of Yeshua), Worship Elohim (God): for the edut Yeshua (testimony of Yeshua), is the Ruach hanevu'ah (Spirit of prophecy — the Ruach of the neviim).
11 And I saw Shamayim (heaven) opened, and behold a sus lavan (white horse — the divine warrior), and he that sat upon him was called ne'eman v'emet (faithful and true — cf. Rev.3:14), and in righteousness he does judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a lahav esh (flame of fire — cf. Dan.10:6), and on his head were many crowns, and he had a name written, that no man knew but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a garment dipped in dam (blood), and his name is called, The HaDavar Elohim (The Word of God — HaDavar = Yochanan 1:1! "In the beginning was HaDavar").
14 And the armies which were in Shamayim (heaven) followed him upon susim lavan, clothed in butz (white horses, clothed in Temple linen), white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the goyim (nations): and he shall rule them with a shevet barzel (rod of iron — cf. Ps.2:9): and he darak et hagat (treads the winepress — cf. Isa.63:3!) of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty Elohim (God).
16 And he has on his garment, and on his thigh a name written, Melech HaMelachim (King of Kings — cf. Deut.10:17, Dan.2:47), And Adon ha'Adonim (Lord of Lords — cf. Deut.10:17, Ps.136:3).
17 And I saw an malachim (Angels) standing in the shemesh (sun), and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of Shamayim (heaven), Come and gather yourselves together unto the se'udat haElohim haGadol (supper of the great Elohim — cf. Ezek.39:17):
18 That you may eat the flesh of melachim (kings), and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw HaChayah (the Beast), and the melachim (kings) of the aretz (earth), and their armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And HaChayah (the Beast) was taken, and with him the false prophet, that worked otot (signs/wonders) before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of HaChayah (the Beast), and them that hishtachavah (worshipped/bowed down) his image. These both were cast alive into a agam esh bo'er b'gafrit (lake of fire burning with brimstone — cf. Gen.19:24, Sodom).
21 And the she'erit (remnant — she'erit) were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Chapter 20 HaSatan Bound Elef Shanim (the Millennium); Tkhiyah Rishonah (First Resurrection) — Kohanim Elohim v'HaMashiach; Gog u'Magog; Esh Yareda from Shamayim; Kise Lavan Gadol

1 And I saw an malachim (Angels) come down from Shamayim (heaven), having the key of the bottomlesss pit, and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the tanin, HaNachash HaKadmon (the dragon, the ancient serpent), which is the devil and HaSatan (the Adversary), and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomlesss pit, and shut him up, and set a chatam (seal) upon him, that he should deceive the goyim (nations) no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be released a little season.
4 And I saw kisot (thrones), and they sat upon them, and mishpat (judgment) was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were nekhaleh (beheaded — for their edut) for the edut (testimony/witness) of Jesus, and for the word of Elohim (God), and which had not hishtachavah (worshipped/bowed down) HaChayah (the Beast), neither his image, neither had received his tav (tav/mark — cf. Ezek.9:4) upon their mitzchot (foreheads), or in their hands; and they lived and reignd with HaMashiach (Messiah/Christ) a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the tkhiyah rishonah (first resurrection — tkhiyat hameitim!).
6 Blessed and holy is he that has part in the tkhiyah rishonah (first resurrection — tkhiyat hameitim!): on such the HaMavet HaSheni (second death — cf. Rev.2:11) has no power, but they shall be kohanim Elohim v'HaMashiach (Priests of God and of HaMashiach — cf. Exod.19:6), and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, HaSatan (the Adversary) shall be released out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the goyim (nations) which are in the four corners of the aretz (earth), Gog u'Magog (Gog u'Magog — cf. Ezek.38-39! The great northern army), to gather them together to milchemet: the number of whom is as the chol hayam (sand of the sea — chol hayam — cf. Gen.22:17, 32:12! The Avrahamic covenant blessing, now applied to the armies of evil).
9 And they went up on the rechovot of the aretz (earth), and compassed the camp of the kedoshim (holy ones/saints) about, and the ha- ir ha-ahuvah (the beloved city — ha-ir ha- ahuvah, Yerushalayim — cf. Ps.78:68): and esh (fire) came down from Elohim (God) out of Shamayim (heaven), and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them, was cast into the lake of esh (fire) and gafrit (brimstone/sulfur — cf. Gen.19:24), where HaChayah (the Beast) and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night, for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a kise lavan gadol (great white throne), and him that sat on it, from whose face the aretz (earth) and the Shamayim (heaven) fled away, and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Elohim (God): and the sefarim niftachu (the books/sefarim were opened — cf. Dan.7:10! EXACT imagery!): and another sefer (book/scroll) was opened, which is the sefer (book/scroll) HaChayyim: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the sefarim (books/scrolls — cf. Dan.7:10), according to their works.
13 And the yam (sea) gave up the dead which were in it: and HaMavet v'She'ol (Death and Sheol) delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And HaMavet v'She'ol (Death and Sheol) were cast into the lake of esh (fire): this is the HaMavet HaSheni (second death — cf. Rev.2:11).
15 And whosoever was not found written in the sefer (book/scroll) HaChayyim, was cast into the lake of esh (fire).

Chapter 21 Shamayim Chadashim v'Aretz Chadashah; Yerushalayim HaChadashah — Kallah me'uteret la'Ba'alah; Mishkan Elohim im ha'Anashim — Shachen Bayneihem; Yimcheh et Kol Dim'ot

1 And I saw a new Shamayim (heaven), and a new aretz (earth): for the first Shamayim (heaven), and the first aretz (earth) were passed away, and there was no more yam (sea).
2 And I John saw the holy City, new Jerusalem coming down from Elohim (God) out of Shamayim (heaven), prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of Shamayim (heaven), saying, Behold, the Mishkan Elohim im ha'anashim (Mishkan of Elohim with humanity — cf. Lev.26:11-12, Ezek.37:27! The covenant promise FULFILLED!), and he will shachen bayneihem (dwell among them — from the root sh-k-n = Shekhinah/Mishkan!), and v'hemah yihyu lo l'am (they shall be His am — cf. Lev.26:12, Jer.31:33, the New Covenant!), and Elohim (God) himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim (God).
4 And Elohim (God) shall yimcheh et kol dim'ot (wipe away all tears — cf. Isa.25:8) from their eyes: and there shall be lo yihyeh od mavet (no more death — cf. Isa.25:8: He will swallow up death forever!), neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the v'harishonim lo yizakeru (former things passed away — cf. Isa.65:17).
5 And he that sat upon the kise (throne), said, Hinneh, ana chadash — I make all things new (Behold I make all new — cf. Isa.43:19: "Behold, I am doing a new thing!"). And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, Nigmar (It is done — cf. Rev.16:17): I am Aleph v'Tav (Alpha and Omega), the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is thirsting, of the ma'yan mayim chayyim (fountain of water of life — cf. Jer.2:13, Zech.14:8), freely.
7 He that overcomes, shall inherit all things, and I will be his Elohim (God), and v'hu yihyeh li l'Ben (he shall be My Ben — the covenantal adoption promise!).
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the shikotzim (abominations/detestable things), and retzachim (murderers — lo tirtzach), and whoremongers, and kishuf (sorcerers — forbidden in Torah), and ovdei elilim (idolaters — worshippers of elilim), and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and gafrit (brimstone/sulfur): which is the HaMavet HaSheni (second death).
9 And there came unto me one of the seven malachim (Angels), which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come here, I will show you the Bride, the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7)'s wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a har gadol v'ram (great and high mountain — cf. Ezek.40:2! Yechezke'l also taken to a very high mountain to see the Temple!), and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of Shamayim (heaven) from Elohim (God),
11 Having the kavod (glory) of Elohim (God): and her light was like unto a stone most precious; even like a yashpeh (jasper — cf. Exod.28:20, breastplate stone) stone, clear as crystal,
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve malachim (Angels), and names written thereon, which are the names of the shnem-asar shvatim (twelve tribes — shivtei B'nei Yisrael) of the children of Israel.
13 On the East three gates, on the North three gates, on the South three gates, and on the West three gates. ┤ Editorial Note — The Camp of Yisrael Around the Mishkan and the Gates of Yerushalayim HaChadashah ├The shnem- asar she'arim (twelve gates) with three on each of the four sides (v.12-13) is the exact arrangement of the twelve shvatim (tribes) around the Mishkan in the wilderness, as commanded by Yahuah in Bemidbar (Numbers) 2: EAST — Mizrach (Degel Machaneh Yehudah) — Bemidbar 2:3-9: Shevet Yehudah, Shevet Yissachar, Shevet Zevulun SOUTH — Negev/Darom (Degel Machaneh Re'uven) — Bemidbar 2:10-16: Shevet Re'uven, Shevet Shim'on, Shevet Gad WEST — Ma'arav/Yam (Degel Machaneh Efrayim) — Bemidbar 2:18-24: Shevet Efrayim, Shevet Menasheh, Shevet Binyamin NORTH — Tzafon (Degel Machaneh Dan) — Bemidbar 2:25-31: Shevet Dan, Shevet Asher, Shevet Naftali Bemidbar 2:1-2 — "Yahuah spoke to Moshe and Aharon, saying: 'The B'nei Yisrael shall camp each by his own degel (standard), with the ensigns of their fathers' houses; they shall camp facing the Mishkan of meeting on every side.'" The Mishkan stood at the centre of the four degels — exactly as Yahuah v'HaSeh are the Heichal at the centre of Yerushalayim HaChadashah (v.22). In the wilderness camp there was no permanent Heychal — only the portable Mishkan; in the New Creation there is no separate Heichal — Yahuah v'HaSeh ARE the Heichal (v.22). The four-sided, twelve-tribe encampment around the Mishkan in Bemidbar now becomes the eternal Ir HaKodesh — Yerushalayim HaChadashah — around the throne of Elohim and HaSeh. Bemidbar 2:34 — "Thus the B'nei Yisrael did; according to all that Yahuah commanded Moshe, so they camped by their degels, and so they set out, every man by his clan, according to his father's house."
14 And the wall of the city had shnem-asar yesodot (twelve foundations), and in them the names of the shnem-asar Shlichim (twelve Apostles/Shlichim of HaSeh) of the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7).
15 And he that talked with me, had a zahavn qaneh (measuring reed — cf. Ezek.40:3) to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lies foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the qaneh (measuring reed — cf. Ezek.40:3), shnem-asar elef (twelve thousand) furlongs: the length, and the breadth, and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred, and forty, and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the malachim (Angels).
18 And the building of the wall of it was of Jasper, and the city was pure zahav (gold), like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was Jasper, the second sapir (sapphire — cf. Exod.28:18, breastplate stone), the third a chalkedonia (chalcedony — cf. Exod.28:18), the fourth an bareqet (emerald — cf. Exod.28:17, breastplate stone),
20 The fifth sardonux (sardonyx — cf. breastplate), the sixth odem (sardius/carnelian — cf. Exod.28:17, breastplate stone), the seventh chrysolite, the eighth tarshish (beryl/tarshish — cf. Exod.28:20, breastplate stone), the ninth a pitdah (topaz — cf. Exod.28:17, breastplate stone), the tenth a chrysoprase (chrysoprase — cf. breastplate), the eleventh a yakinthos (hyacinth/jacinth — cf. breastplate), the twelfth an achalamah (amethyst — cf. Exod.28:19, breastplate stone).
21 And the twelve gates were twelve peninim (pearls), every several gate was of one pearl, and the rechovot (streets/broad places) of the city was pure zahav (gold), as it were transparent glass.
22 And lo ra'iti Heichal (I saw no Heichal — for Yahuah and HaSeh ARE the Heichal!) therein: For the Lord Elohim (God) Almighty, and the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7), are the Heichal (Temple) of it.
23 And the city had no need of the Sun, neither of the Moon to shine in it: for the kavod (glory) of Elohim (God) did me'ir otah, and the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7) is the light thereof.
24 And the goyim yeilekhu l'orech (nations walking in its light — cf. Isa.60:3!) of it: and the kings of the aretz (earth) do bring their kavod (glory) and hadar (honor) into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the kavod (glory) and hadar (honor) of the goyim (nations) into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defiles, neither whatsoever works abomination, or (light) makes a lie: but they which are written in the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7)'s Sefer HaChayyim (book of life).

Chapter 22 Nahar Mayim Chayyim — Etz HaChayyim Restored; Lo Yihyeh Od Cherem; V'Chazu et Panav; Sakhari Iti; Aleph v'Tav; Shoresh v'Tzemach David; Kochav HaShachar HaBahir; Lo Tosif

1 And he showed me a pure river of mayim chayyim (water of life), clear as Crystal, proceeding out of the kise (throne) of Elohim (God), and of the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7).
2 In the midst of the street of it, and of either side of the river, was there the Etz HaChayyim (tree of life — cf. Gen.2:9! Restored! And Ezek.47:12 — trees on both banks!), which bore shnem-asar peirot (twelve fruits — cf. Ezek.47:12: fruit for food every month), and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the refuah (healing — refuah) of the goyim (nations).
3 And there shall be lo yihyeh od cherem (no more curse — lo yihyeh od cherem (cf. Deut.27- 28; Zech.14:11!)), but the kise (throne) of Elohim (God), and of the HaSeh (the Lamb — Isa.53:7) shall be in it, and his evedav ya'avduhu (His evedim shall serve/worship Him — avodah!).
4 And v'chazu et panav (they shall see His panim — cf. Num.6:25, Aaronic blessing!), and Shemo b'mitzchotehem (His Shem on their mitzchot — cf. Ezek.9:4! NOW the divine Shem itself is written!).
5 And there shall be laylah lo yihyeh od, v'ein tzorech ner (no night, no candle needed — cf. Isa.60:19-20), neither light of the shemesh (sun), for the Lord Elohim (God) gives them light, and they shall yimlokhu l'olmei olamim (shall reign forever — yimlokhu l'olmei olamim).
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are ne'eman (faithful) and true. And the Lord Elohim (God) of the neviim hakedoshim (holy prophets — the kadosh neviim) sent his malachim (Angels) to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Hinneh, ba'i maher (Behold I come quickly — Hinneh! The prophetic call of Yahuah!): Blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the nevu'ah (prophecy/nevu'ah) of this sefer (book/scroll).
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down, to hishtachavah (worship) before the feet of the malachim (Angels), which showed me these things.
9 Then says he unto me, See you do it not: for I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the neviim (prophets), and of them which keep the sayings of this sefer (book/scroll): hishtachavah (worship) Elohim (God).
10 And he says unto me, Seal not the sayings of the nevu'ah (prophecy/nevu'ah) of this sefer (book/scroll): for the time is at hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filyour, let him be filyour still: and he that is tzaddik (righteous — cf. Ps.1:6), let him be tzaddik (righteous — cf. Ps.1:6) still: and he that is kadosh (holy — cf. the Kedushah), let him be kadosh (holy — cf. the Kedushah) still.
12 And Hinneh, ba'i maher (Behold I come quickly — Hinneh! The prophetic call of Yahuah!), and sakhari iti (My reward is with Me — sakhari iti — cf. Isa.40:10! EXACT QUOTATION!), to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Aleph v'Tav (Alpha and Omega — First and Last), the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Ashrei osei mitzvotav (Blessed/Ashrei are those who keep His mitzvot — cf. Ps.119, Ps.1!), that they may have right to the Etz HaChayyim (tree of life — cf. Gen.2:9! Restored! And Ezek.47:12 — trees on both banks!), and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For wiyout are dogs, and kishuf (sorcerers — forbidden in Torah), and zonim (whoremongers — from zenut), and retzachim (murderers — lo tirtzach), and ovdei elilim (idolaters — worshippers of elilim), and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
16 I Yeshua (Jesus) have sent my malachim (Angels), to testify unto you these things in the Churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and Kochav HaShachar HaBahir (bright Morning Star — cf. Rev.2:28, Isa.14:12 (Heylel ben Shachar who fell); NOW Yeshua IS the true Kochav HaShachar who rose!).
17 And the Spirit and the Kallah (Bride — kallah) say, Come. And let him that hears, say, Come. And let him that is thirstinging, come. And whosoever will, let him take the mayim chayyim (water of life) freely.
18 For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the nevu'ah (prophecy/nevu'ah) of this sefer (book/scroll), If any man shall lo tosif aleihem — Elohim will add the makkot (do not add — lo tosif — cf. Deut.4:2, 12:32! The Torah's own prohibition!), that are written in this sefer (book/scroll).
19 And if any man shall lo tigra — Elohim will take his part from Sefer HaChayyim (do not subtract — lo tigra — cf. Deut.4:2, 12:32), and out of the kadosh (holy — cf. the Kedushah) city, and from the things which are written in this sefer (book/scroll).
20 He which testifys these things, says, Ken, ba'i maher (Surely I come quickly — Ken (Yes)! cf. Rev.22:7,12). Amein. Even so, Bo Adonai Yeshua.
21 The Chen (grace) of our Adonai Yeshua (Jesus) Christ be with you all. Amein.
